Rye Bread Party Pizzas

Reviewed: Nov. 30, 2007
I make these all the time, just a suggestion you can make ahead of time just freeze before baking and then you can place in a ziploc baggie....take out what you need and put under the broiler for about 5mins perfect and a real crowd pleaser !!

Bacon Wrapped Smokies

Reviewed: Apr. 7, 2007
I made these as one of the appettizers served at my wedding and oh what a big hit. That was 5 years ago and ever since people that ask us over for a function always request that I bring those "cocktail weenie thingys you made for your reception". I was once told by my cousin that I better not walk in her door without them. So yummy and easy to make !

Reviewed: Dec. 12, 2006
I made 2 for a church bake sale and they were sold within minutes ! I got a call from one of the buyers wnating the recipe because they loved it. I made one for my family and it was gone in a blink of an eye, I think this may even be on our table for christmas breakfast, thanks for a great addition to my collection !

Oven Baked Potato Wedges

Reviewed: Nov. 16, 2006
We liked this alot, I sliced them into thin wedges and left the skin on. Also I added garlic powder and onion powder and grated romano cheese to the bread crumbs. They came out crispy and very tasty, my husband thought the breading a bit too thick, but that was my fault I really rolled them in the breadcrumbs since there were reviews complaining of the breading falling off and making a mess, I didn't have that problem one bit, a definite keeper, thanks for the recipe !!!!

Creamy Chicken Breasts

Reviewed: Aug. 29, 2006
Husband cooked this on the grill after I marinated for 4 hours and this chicken came out so moist and tasty !! I used creamy ranch and regular italian dressings....came out really good, may use just creamy italian next time, and maybe a bit more cayanne pepper, otherwise yummmmmmmm !!

Cornbread Salad I

Reviewed: Aug. 22, 2006
I used rotel like suggested by another reviewer, it came out ok, but I found it very dry, it may have been the bowl I used, not sure, will try it again, and may increase the dressing a bit, great flavor !!

Five Food Groups Macaroni Salad

Reviewed: Aug. 22, 2006
I left the tuna out since I was serving this as a side dish for a cookout. My husband loved it, I liked it well enough but I am not big on "sweet" pasta salad, next time I would use mayo instead of salad dressing, and would add ham instead of tuna. It kept well and stayed moist, hubby ate on the bowl all week long.

Zucchini Quiche

Reviewed: Sep. 22, 2005
My aunt gave me this very same recipe yrs ago, we make it at all family functions. It is wonderful cold too. We usually cut it in small squares and serve as an appetizer. Also just a time saving tip, use frozen chopped onions make the prep time even faster than it is now ! Also we peel and slice the zucchini very thin.

Real Pecan Pie

Reviewed: Nov. 27, 2004
made this for Thanksgiving, it was wonderful !! Although my pie pan was too deep, had to transfer my crust into a pie pan that was shallow and smaller, would do great in a shallow 9 inch or full 8 inch pan. Loved how gooey and not dry or too firm this turned out, will make again!

Cream Cheese Candies

Reviewed: Apr. 2, 2003
I gave this recipe to my Maid of Honor to make for my wedding in October. They were fantastic, everyone commented on how creamy and delicious they were, and wanted the recipe for themselves. Very easy to make and had a wonderful taste and froze well so can be made ahead of time, and were easy to put in molds.
