Easy Indian Butter Chicken

My family of 6 loved this, but I did make a few changes knowing my kids palates. First I cut the butter to 3/4 C. added only 1 C. cream and 1 1/4 c. half and half. Also, cut the tandoori masala down to 2 tsp. and then used 1 tsp. of curry powder. There was plenty of sauce for everyone to drown their rice and veggies in. And even enough for leftovers.

I can see why people love the recipe, but I realized that I am not a big fan of tumeric and this recipe calls for a lot of it. I might try it again sometime and use less of that spice. Other than that it was good.

Blue Ribbon Curry Chicken

I've made several curry dishes over the last few weeks and this was the over all favorite! I just cut up some precooked rotisserie chicken for the sauce. Served over rice. My family of 6 loved it.

Indian Chicken Curry (Murgh Kari)

We really liked this. For my family it was a good balance of the creamy-spicy and not too tomato-y. I reduced the tumeric a little because we'd had a dish the night before with way too much and it can be an overpowering spice. Next time I might reduce the tomotoes since I prefer it a little creamier.

Adriel's Chinese Curry Chicken

My family of 6 ate it all up ages 8 to 14, the only complaint was that it seemed a little bland. I used 1 tablespoon of mild curry paste (red) because that was what I had. I added some garam masala too. Next time I'll try the yellow curry or add a little more heat. I served it over basmati and it was delish!
