Jennie's Heavenly Slow Cooker Chicken
I love this recipe! I have made this a few times and the first couple of times, it was good, but was really salty. This last time I made it with a couple of substitutions and it turned out perfect and delicious! I substituted cream of chicken soup for the cream of mushroom. I have never used the white wine, but used chicken broth before. This last time I just used a 1/2 cup of water in place of the wine/broth. I think this cut the saltiness down a lot and I will use water from now on. We have eaten this over rice and pasta before. I prefer it over fettuccine noodles, as it reminds me of an alfredo sauce. I cooked it about 5.5 hours on low in my crockpot. The chicken was tender and delicious!

Creamy Macaroni and Cheese
My husband and I loved this! I had a couple of changes. I left out the mustard. I used whole milk instead of evaporated milk. I did half sharp cheddar and half velveeta. The sauce was tangy and smooth and delicious! There is almost too much sauce for the amount of pasta, so next time I will add more pasta. I am giving this 4 stars because neither of my kids (ages 2 and 5) would eat it. My 5 year old said she didn't like the flavor because it was too tangy. I am making this again tonight, but I will leave out the Parmesan and do a combination of medium cheddar, velveeta and italian blend cheese. Hopefully the kids will like this combo better!
