Light Oat Bread

Reviewed: Aug. 22, 2015
We really enjoyed this bread. It's light and soft on the inside, with a great crunchy crust on the outside. I used old fashioned oats, since it didn't specify. I followed the recipe with no changes.

JELL-O Patriotic Mini Fruit Tarts

Reviewed: Jul. 26, 2013
Yum! These were gone so fast I almost didn't have time to take a photo first. I followed the recipe directions with no changes. I did find that the crusts were ready in about 8 minutes, instead of 10-12. Otherwise, it was simple and oh so easy!

Carrot-Sweet Potato Mash

Reviewed: Feb. 6, 2010
Yummy!! This was soooo good! I followed the directions to the "T" except I didn't add raisins. Was super easy and quick to make, and my hubby and 5 yr old gobbled it up. Will definately add to my regular rotation of recipes.

Lemon Pie II

Reviewed: Nov. 26, 2009
Yum! This is such a great recipe! The only change I made was following other reviewers advice and I added a bit more lemon juice. It came out perfectly. I made it for Thanksgiving and it got great reviews from everyone.

French Toast II

Reviewed: Aug. 22, 2009
Very, very good! Nice and sweet - reminds me of Denny's french toast...which is about the only thing I like at Denny's. Will definately make again.

Laurie's Shepherd's Pie

Reviewed: Mar. 20, 2009
This was SO good! I pretty much followed the recipe exactly except I omitted the peppers (I just don't like them) and added some cheese on top before baking. My boyfriend nearly ate the whole thing by himself. I will definately make this again!

Party Punch III

This punch was so good! I accidentally bought fruit punch flavored soda and it still turned out great. I served it at an office baby shower and everyone raved!

Easy Banana Bread

Reviewed: Sep. 9, 2013
I would have to give this 4.5 stars. I made two loaves, one with nuts and one without. I really enjoyed this bread, especially the crust. I did think it was tad dry. My husband liked the bread but thought it had too much sugar in it. He also said that it has more of a cake like texture than a bread like texture.

Baked Chicken with Peaches

Reviewed: Apr. 5, 2007
OMG! This was soooo good! One of the best I've ever made off this website....and it was so easy and quick too. I followed other reviewer's advice. I used 2 cans of peaches in natural juice, and then poured 1 can of the juice over the pan before I put it in the oven (2 cans of juice would have been too much). I didn't use lemon juice, cloves or ginger...instead I sprinkled the chicken with cinnamon. Served over rice and it was perfect!

Easy Cheesy Chicken I

Reviewed: Feb. 13, 2007
This is easily one of the top two recipes I have ever tried on AllRecipes. It took less than 20 minutes to prepare - cost me about $10 to make, and was simply delicious! I had it in the crock pot for right at 6 hours, and teh chicken was so tender it was falling apart. The flavor of the sauce was very good and perfect served over rice. I will definately make this again!

Cathy's Banana Bread

Reviewed: Mar. 28, 2006
This is soooooo yummy! I didn't have a loaf pan, so I used a 9x13 and found that 35 minutes at 350 degrees was perfect. Other than that, I followed the directions exactly. It took 3 overripe bananas for me to get the 1 cup mashed. I will DEFINATELY make this again!

Chicken Cordon Bleu I

Reviewed: Mar. 5, 2006
This was really good. My husband has now declared this his favorite meal. I used muenster cheese because we do not care for swiss. I had to adjust the cooking time slightly, as my oven tends to run very hot. I suggest using colored toothpicks, or toothpicks with ribbon on the end because once the chicken was cooked I lost a couple of them (much to the surprise of whoever was eating the chicken). Overall, this was a very easy recipe and I'll definately make it again!

Pumpkin Bars with Cream Cheese Frosting

My first faceless recipe for October. You know you're baking something good when while its in the oven baking, you get a UPS package and the driver tells you "wow, whatever you're baking smells delicious!"

Easy Slow Cooker French Dip

Reviewed: Oct. 8, 2013
This was very easy and the au jus it makes was so good! I used a rump roast but I think a different cut of meat would have been better. The rump roast shredded instead of sliced and was a bit tough. I cooked mine on low for 5 hours and it was done...I think 7 would be way too long. I used a can of Michelob Lite (that was the only beer in the fridge that my husband wouldn't disown me for using in a meal) and added about 7 shakes of Worcestershire sauce and a little bit of garlic powder and onion powder to the meat. I served over rolls that I toasted slightly in the oven. I also added some mozzarella to a few of the sandwiches. Yummy!

Oven Roasted Red Potatoes

Reviewed: May 23, 2010
YUMMY!! My husband couldn't get enough of these. I put them on a cookie sheet to get them to crisp up a bit. Next time i'll use slightly less olive oil as they were still a bit wet, but SO delicious!

HERDEZ® Creamy Tomatillo Avocado Salsa

Reviewed: Jul. 26, 2013
Served this at a pot luck...everyone loved this dip! The only complaint (if you can call it that) was from one person who said it was bit too spicy, but then admitted that they normally don't eat spicy food. I followed the recipe exactly and used a blender to mix it all together.

My husband and son LOVED this pizza! I followed the recipe with no changes. The "Birds Eye® Recipe Ready Pizza Supreme Blend" made this so simple to prepare. This is definitely a keeper!

Banana Crumb Muffins

Reviewed: Sep. 2, 2010
First of all, let me just say that the crumb topping is to die for! I made a banana bread loaf instead of muffins (baked at 350 for about 45 minutes) and it was delicious. Mine came out a tad too dry but I think that's because my bananas were on the smaller side, so I would suggest using 4 small bananas or 3 large bananas. This is definitely a keeper!
