I'm a 19 year old chick on the coast of California. I've lived here all my life, and being in one of the most toured areas, there are many fine restauants of all types everywhere you go. Many of the locals have their own recepies and traditions that I have grown up learning. I am perfect at making the simple things; grilled cheese, quesadillas, various salads. But lately I've been exploring a bit more, and my favorite recent accomplishment is cheese raviolis from scratch! Nobody does thanksgiving dinner like mom! With a tender butterball turkey, nutty stuffing, fluffy mashed red potatoes, green bean casserole, baked and spiced yams, a honey ham and much more. Despite all the homemade goodness, we always preferred cranberries in a can ;) Latest accomplishment: Ravioli! I never knew it was this easy. It's not that easy really, but a lot more than it sounds.
