Turkey Lo Mein

Reviewed: Dec. 31, 2010
This recipe was great!!! I had some leftover half-cooked turkey and this was the perfect recipe! My mom ate it in 5 minutes! I did "tweak" it a little. I didn't have any ramen noodles handy so I made the thin spaghetti noodles (My mother used rice noodles and it tasted the same).I made my own seasoning for the noodles (I have the recipe for it posted). I used fresh garlic instead of the powder. I was very happpy with this recipe and will use it again! ;)

Bread and Celery Stuffing

Reviewed: Dec. 24, 2010
This was a great stuffing! I recently made it for my family and it was a huge hit! I tweaked it a liittle bit though. I only used 1 1/2 teaspoons of poultry seasoning and I used turkey broth instead. My family encouraged me to make this a tradition for the times we see each other. I will definitely be makingthis again!

Tilapia Soft Tacos with Chipotle Cream

Reviewed: Oct. 3, 2010
I made this recipe for my mother and she liked it. Me, on the other hand, not so much. The spices that I sauted were really wonderful, but the lime juice made it seem overly fishy. It was much better when I put it with hot sauce and guacamole.

Barbecued Alaskan Salmon

Reviewed: May 29, 2011
Amazing! The sauce was everything I thought it would be! The only thing I added was a teaspoon ketchup and a dash of rosemary. Otherwise, the sauce was sensational!

Chicken Breasts With Herb Basting Sauce

Reviewed: Mar. 30, 2011
THIS WAS AMAZING!!! I made this feeling doubtful and a little reluctent, but it turned out sooooooo good! I baked it in the oven for about an hour, but that was because the dish was deeper. The porportions were perfect and made just enough so I didn't have any basting sauce left over! I plan to make this over and over again!!!

Herbed Turkey Rub

Reviewed: Dec. 31, 2010
I made this turkey for a new year's dinner for my niece and nephews. They are somewhat picky, but they loved this turkey. The spices were a little too mild so I sprinkled salt and pepper over it. Next time I make this it may be for Thanksgiving!

Quick Egg Roll Dipping Sauce

Reviewed: Apr. 22, 2011
This wasn't the best sauce it had way too much soy sauce and the porportions were off. I didn't have any ginger on hand, which may have made a difference. Either way it didn't set right with the egg rolls I had.

Cajun Shrimp

Reviewed: Sep. 20, 2010
This was really a great recipe although I did copmromise a little. Instead of thyme I used basil and instead of garlic powder I used McCormick's garlic and onion medly. I also substuted hot sauce for the cayenne pepper and I did add a little chilly powder. (all of the things I substuted I didn't have.) All in all this was a really great eddition to my recipe box!
