Banana Sour Cream Bread

3,000 people aren't wrong about this one. This is some seriously good banana bread. It makes a ton! But don't worry about it going to waste. People have no trouble eating it. I'm wanting to make more just thinking about it. My favorite breakfast of the year. I think the only problem I ran into with the recipe was that my mixing bowl was barely big enough. Will not alter the recipe.

Yummy Sweet Potato Casserole

I have to make this every holiday now or my family will throw a fit. I took reviewer Melissa's tips: Always bake the potatoes instead of boil & double the topping. No one is ever going to complain that there's too much pecan topping!! You can bake those potatoes in advance, but do take the skins off before they go in the fridge - it's just harder to separate when they're cold.

Disney's Ratatouille

Tips: 1) This recipe tells you to spread tomato paste evenly then add water & seasonings... Just mix the paste/water/garlic & such together and then spread it on the bottom. 2) Great served over couscous. 3) Use your slicer/mandoline to make this fast food. My husband is a meat-lover, like - where's the beef? But he really loves this, has had it several times, and I'm not sure if he's realized there's no meat in it yet. He may think it's a french word for lasagna. *shhhh*

Perfect Turkey

Awesome!! We didn't have a bucket or huge pot so we very carefully brined it in one of those plastic turkey bags in the roasting pan. (imagine goldfish in transport bag) My husband was terrified of flipping the turkey over - strong tongs are good... but he stuck the landing. Looked fabulous, tasted even better.

Slow Cooker Stuffing

I could only find herb flavored bread cubes, but was fine. I started out with 2.5 cups of broth and added another 1/2 cup during cooking. It was in the crockpot for 5 hours when everything else was ready & it was perfect. Did the saute the night before & dumped it in the day of. Super simple. Lots of compliments.
