Golden Dinner Rolls

Reviewed: Aug. 10, 2011
Really tasty! I accidentally added too much sugar, and even though they were a little too sweet they were still great. I cut the recipe down for 12 servings and then made huge rolls for black bean burgers. It was perfect, and they puffed up beautifully for buns!

Homemade Black Bean Veggie Burgers

Reviewed: Aug. 10, 2011
The taste was exceptional! I used dried beans which of course took much more time. Next time I'll try others' techniques for removing water, as one of them broke apart, and the others were almost on the breaking point. Only alteration was to add jalapenos to the bell pepper/onion mix, and a lot more of the hot sauce...still werent spicy enough for our tastes. Other than slight alterations, the recipe is top notch!

Brooke's Best Bombshell Brownies

Reviewed: Mar. 21, 2011
Wonderful! I only added 100 grams of mini chocolate chips, and felt that if I had added anymore that they wouldnt have held together as they did. They were a success with my guests.

Oven Baked BBQ Ribs

Reviewed: Mar. 14, 2011
These were fall off the bone perfect. I was so surprised to find ribs this good from an electric oven! I live in France, where brown sugar is impossible to find, so I used regular sugar, and still they were perfect. I was somehow patient enough to turn and baste every 20 minutes, so perhaps that did the trick.

Spicy Garlic Lime Chicken

Reviewed: Mar. 14, 2011
Really great. This mix of seasoning is really tasty. I added more paprika and cayenne pepper, and a little more garlic and found just the right amount of spice. In order to make more of a sauce than what was prescribed, after the chicken was cooked, I used the left over juices/oil and added a bit of cream, flour, chicken broth, and a little of the same spice mixture to make a gravy. Perfect.

Juicy Roasted Chicken

Reviewed: Dec. 17, 2010
Really tasty and really juicy. I did not use any celery, but it didn't even matter. It's really difficult to find whole turkeys where I live, so I used this recipe for my Thanksgiving Chicken. : ) It helped make my first thanksgiving with my husband memorable. Thanks for the recipe!

Annemarie's Lemon Bars

Reviewed: Nov. 21, 2010
I doubled the filling recipe, and increased the amount of lemon juice (a lot), and still I felt like they weren't lemon-y enough for me. The texture was bizarre. I was expecting the crust to be more of a crust and less like a soft shortbread cookie.

Boneless Buffalo Wings

Reviewed: Nov. 17, 2010
So the battering process was so long and messy that I almost gave up. However I stuck it through, and they were good. I had to double the flour mixture for the batter, and I made the mistake of using Tabasco--so they were way too hot for me. Don't use Tabasco. To be honest, I'd give them 2 stars, but my husband liked them so I guess that earns them an extra one.
