Delicious soup. My blender with the glass jar kicked the bucket, so I got out the potato masher instead and mashed it in the pot, then added the cream cheese. I've had this recipe 'blendered' before, and mashing did not detract from the overall soup at all. It came out fairly smooth. I used homemade chicken stock, and one package of light cream cheese, and it was just right. I also didn't have any marjoram, so I substituted with oregano and a smidgen of thyme and sage (dried leafy, not powdered). Great soup, will definitely make again.
