Slow Cooker Pulled Pork
I am not a fan of root beer, but I tried this recipe anyway because reviewers stated you could NOT taste the root beer, and the meat would be fall apart tender. I used a 4lb. pork tenderloin because that was what I had on hand, and it was very tender after about 8 hrs cooking on low. BUT, it definitely tasted of sweet root beer. So, I used a large bottle of Sweet Baby Ray's Sweet and spicy BBQ sauce. The spicy sauce did cut some of the sweetness. I don't know how you could say you can't taste the root beer. Next time, I will use beef broth as others did and not bother with root beer.

Make Ahead Breakfast Casserole
I have been making this breakfast for the holidays for about 3 years now and it is wonderful. I do do a few things differently. I always use skim milk...doesn't change a thing. I also add a bit of garlic powder, sorry I don't measure. I also use the Mexican blend cheese mix and just use 2 cups, it's easier. Last thing I do differently is I don't use spicy sausage, I use breakfast sausage with good. This is a family favorite and they look forward to it each holiday. Thanks.
