Such a quick, easy recipe. Great to make with your kids. You can substitute any cake mix for these cookies. Great when you want something for your sweet tooth.

Dirt Cake I

Reviewed: Feb. 14, 2009
Due to allergies, I made a dairy free version of this and it was to die for. I used a soy version of the whipped topping and chocolate pudding and my whole family loved it. Thank you so much for this great recipe.

Honey Glazed Ham

Reviewed: Dec. 25, 2008
This was so good. I used the suggestion of Brown Sugar instead of the Dark Corn Syrup and LOVED IT. I only gave this 4 stars because I replaced the syrup. The flavor was excellent. I made sure to save a little of the glaze for the ham after I took it out of the oven so that I could pour it directly on the ham while it was still hot. This recipe is a definite keeper.

Louisiana Sweet Potato Pancakes

Reviewed: Dec. 25, 2008
I always like to taste the batter just a little before I cook recipes. Well when I tasted this one it was too salty and had no flavor. I like a pancake that can stand alone without syrup and this one didn't taste like it could do that. So I added a little Allspice, a little more Nutmeg and a hint of Cinnamon. I also added a little Vanilla Extract. This improved the flavor, however once I finally got that under control, the batter was too thick. I didn't add enough spices to affect the thickness so something else was wrong with this. I cooked them on a griddle and the insides weren't done. I was very disappointed with this recipe and won't make it again unfortunately.

Libby's® Pumpkin Pecan Pie

Reviewed: Dec. 25, 2008
I made this pie on Thanksgiving and my whole family loved it. I am making it again for Christmas. The taste was great. I had no issues with anything. My layering was fine. The only difference for me perhaps was that it took time for me to finish the topping so the second half of the pie may have set a little. I would add a few minutes of time before adding the topping. This may prevent the topping from seeping through.

Vegan Brownies

Reviewed: Apr. 5, 2008
Loved this recipe. My family loved them too. I followed other's recommendations and used 1/2 c oil and 1/2 c Applesauce. I gave it a four out of five though because I think the cooking time is off. I would bake this for 35 - 40 mins and put aluminum foil around the pan to prevent the edges from burning. Other than that, I'm excited to be enjoying brownies again after I had to give up dairy for good due to an acute allergy.

Spicy Baked Sweet Potato Fries

Reviewed: Apr. 8, 2007
I've made these twice already. My family loves them. I went for something different as a side dish for Lamb this time. The natural sweet flavor of the sweet potatoes just added such a nice contrast to the savory Lamb. This is a definite keeper.

Scrambled Eggs Done Right

These are so light and fluffy. So much better than just throwing eggs into a skillet and scrambling them. Great taste too.

Cucumber And Yogurt Salad

Reviewed: Aug. 26, 2004
I did not like these at all, the salt caused the cucumbers to be watery, which watered down the yogurt sauce. I will not try these again.

Greek Pasta Salad I

Reviewed: Jul. 21, 2003
Took this to a picnic and it was a big hit! People have even asked me for the recipe. I changed somethings though, I did not use any of the seasonings and instead chopped and sliced all of my other ingredients. Then I poured Greek Salad Dressing on (it was cheaper) and it turned out great. It taste even better overnight.

Old Fashioned Macaroni Salad

Reviewed: May 9, 2003
I took this to a cook-out and everyone enjoyed it. I still think that the recipe lacked a little something, but judging by the amount I had left to take home (about half), I think I will try and add my own twist to this one to get the flavor I am looking for. Maybe a little seasoned salt.

Award Winning Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Mar. 24, 2003
I was a little disappointed after reading all the great reviews. These cookies were just ok. I am going to keep the recipe and try to make a few changes of my own (like using less chocolate chips, I had more chips than dough). They weren't nearly as exciting as my husband and I were expecting. As one reviewer said, they are very similar to Toll House Cookies.

Very tasty! Very easy to make! A nice change for chicken. I would add just one thing - foil to the bottom of the pan for quick clean-up.
