Mrs. Sigg's Snickerdoodles

Reviewed: Jun. 10, 2011
A simple and tasty snickerdoodle. I baked mine for 9 min. and then let them cool on the pan for 3 min. They turned out perfect! Not to crispy or too puffy. A snickerdoodle is usually more flat because it does not have baking powder. When they are puffy you don't get the crinkles in it to show the cinnamon and sugar. To cut the taste of cream of tartar - use a really fresh jar and mix it well with the flour, salt, and soda mixture.

Simple Scones

Reviewed: Jun. 6, 2011
The best scone reciepe I have found yet! I made them with a butter cutter and one bowl. I also used plain yogurt because I didn't have sour cream on hand. I also chilled them once they were on the pan for 10 mins. before putting them in the pre-heated oven. Tender yet flaky!

Homemade Coleslaw Dressing

Reviewed: May 30, 2011
Tastes great and not too sweet! I did add a little extra season salt to it though.
