The first few times I made this recipe, I cut the sugar down to 2 Tblsps since I found the dough too sweet. At that time I was cooking it in my cast iron skillet like I would tortillas.
One day we decided to cook it on the grill. I forgot to reduce the sugar and guess what? It wasn't too sweet if cooked properly. I guess the sugar must burn off on the grill. Also, the Naan was much puffier and tasted better cooked on the grill. It also left the kitchen less messy! Heh.
This is a great recipe and I use it allll the time.
