Beef Stew VI

Reviewed: Jul. 8, 2014
Great recipe! Just made a couple minor changes and now have a go to beef stew recipe. YEAH! Added 1 TBLS of tomato paste, 1 TBLS of worcestershire, some Lawry's Season Salt to taste. Also, because I cut the 2 hour window close, I just threw in a bag of Birds Eye Recipe Ready Stew Blend for Beef Stew (Carrots, Onions, Potatoes & Celery the last half hour. Made the recipe even easier.

Banana Banana Bread

Reviewed: Jul. 8, 2014
First off I cook ALL the time. Due to the reviews, keep trying this recipe as written. Made it again last night with 3 bananas and my family said it was bland and wasn't very sweet. Will continue to look for the no fail banana recipe.

Chicken Enchiladas

Reviewed: May 10, 2014
FAMILY LOVED IT with my modification as below after reading reviews. Cooked chicken in frying pan with Wildtree Rotisserie Chicken Blend, cooked onions and chili powder as directed, added 1 can of Rotel mild diced tomatoes w/green chilis and 1 10 oz can of mild green chile enchilada sauce, about 1/2 cup of medium salsa and some season salt. Filled tortillas with filling and seared them in hot frying pan before adding to baking dish - followed rest of directions.

Quick and Easy Pizza Crust

Reviewed: Jan. 3, 2014
My husband and I loved it. May cut the sugar down to 1/2 tsp (may even use brown sugar next time), but will be our go to crust for sure. Easy, crunchy on outside and soft on inside. Put on very bottom rack to ensure browning of crust and prevented toppings from burning. Took approximately 19 minutes.

Exactly what I've been looking for! Oddly enough, I made half the batch and still ended up with 2 loaves of bread. Hmmm, anyway, very pleased!!

Awesome Slow Cooker Pot Roast

Reviewed: Aug. 15, 2012
My husband thanked me for making this! It was super easy and delicious! I took the advice of another reviewer and browned my pot roast with flour, garlic powder, salt and pepper and then threw in the crock pot with 1 can of beef broth (in place of water), 1 can of cream of mushroom soup and 1 whole packet of Lipton Onion Soup Mix. I only used a 2 lb roast. I threw baby carrots in the last hour and a half. I cooked everything on low for about 8 hours. Had lots of perfect gravy to go with the mashed potatoes I made. Definitely my go to Pot Roast recipe from now on.

Herb Rubbed Sirloin Tip Roast

Reviewed: Jul. 26, 2012
My husband said this is the "best meal I've ever made." We've been married 20 years, that's saying something as I cook all the time. He took left overs to work and said it was actually better even the next day! We had no issues with salt (used Kosher salt) and I only had a 2 1/4 lb roast. 5 Stars for sure!
