Made this recipe for the first time following most of Debby S.'s recommended changes with a little bit of my own:
3 cups of oats with flax seed,
1/3 cup brown sugar,
3 tsp. cinnamon,
1/3 cup melted butter,
1/4 cup apple sauce,
1/2 cup chopped pecans,
Only baked for 30 mins at 350 and it turned out perfect. Goes great with a little bit of milk (don't drown it like cereal) and topped with a drizzle of warm REAL maple syrup (here in Canada you better be using the real stuff!).
