Spinach Enchiladas Verde

I followed the recipe as directed. And used the suggestion of 1 of the reviewers: I dipped each of the tortillas in oil for less than 3 seconds & that prevented the tortillas from falling apart. I didn't even use toothpicks. I've made this recipe twice. The second time I made it, I didn't realize I had no sour cream anymore, so I used 2 tablespoons of mayo & the recipe was still delicious! Also, since I like salsa a lot, I added a bit more salsa on top of the enchiladas & oh, man, it was so good!

Breakfast Tortilla

I followed the recipe as directed. It was delicious! It was quick and easy to make when you are short on time. I've made it twice. The second time I made it, I decided to add more salsa because I loved the spicyness. This is a great recipe! I'll definitely make it again and again! JAN 2011 UPDATE: I make this A LOT. Now I add some shredded cheddar cheese on top of the egg as it cook (after u put the beans in). It's delicious!

Grandma Ople's Apple Pie

I followed the recipe as directed. And I also followed the suggestion of 1 reviewer: I added 1teaspoon of cinnamon to the apples after I was done slicing them, & I brushed egg white on the crusts. I didn't make my own crust. I bought 1 box of Betty Croker pie crust mix. And even though the pie was great, next time I'll buy 2 boxes of Betty Crocker b/c 1 box wasn't enough. The bottom crust was too thin, but the lattice top was fine. I poured the filling onto the apples & saved 1/4 of a cup of it to pour some over the top crust. Overall, the pie was delicious! This was my first time baking a pie & it was my practice pie b/c I'm making it for Thanksgiving this year.

Ranch-Style Deviled Eggs

I just tried out this recipe today. I followed the recipe exactly, but I didn't like it. The taste was too bland for me. It didn't give me that "mmm" or "wow" satisfaction. I give it 1 star because the egg itself was good. I'd rather eat the hard boiled egg by itself than with this recipe's mixture.

Parmesan Chicken II

I LOVE parmesan cheese so I was so happy to do this recipe, but I was disappointed by the results. It was just OK. It was kind of bland. No POW WOW flavor. It was just: Ehhh. I thought maybe I should add more spices, so I did the recipe again another day and it was SLIGHTLY better than before but still not great. I don't think I'm going to waste good chicken with this recipe. I prefer to do the Restaurant Style Buffalo Chicken Wings recipe from this site. I followed the parmesan chicken recipe as stated the FIRST TIME and since I was disappointed by it, I tried it a SECOND TIME BUT I ADDED MORE SPICES and it still was NOT enough to give this recipe another star. I won't make this again.

Restaurant-Style Buffalo Chicken Wings

I followed the recipe exactly except for the frying and using wings :) I had 2 chicken drumsticks so I used those instead and the recipe was delicious! I also didn't have enough oil, so I baked them instead. I baked them for 48mins on the wire rack at 400. I sprayed the chicken with PAM so they wouldn't stick to the wire rack. I also placed a cookie sheet underneath the chicken so all drippings would land there and not the bottom of the oven. I used El Tapatio hot sauce. I would definitely make this recipe again! You can use any part of the chicken with this recipe, and it'll still be delicious. I guess it depends on what hot sauce you use, but El Tapatio hot sauce I used wasn't TOO hot; it was just right. Perfect! It was enough to taste the spicyness. It was really good :) I'm definitely making this again!

Tangy Honey Glazed Ham

I put the ham in a roaster pan and poured 1 cup of water inside the pan as the ham instructions stated. It also said to cover the ham with foil, so I covered it with foil ONLY for 1st hour but I won't be doing that again because the outside of the ham started to get crispy too soon, so next time I'll cover the ham in the last 35mins of baking instead. Other than that, I followed the recipe as stated and was quite satisfied with the results. I think I'm going to add 1 1/2 - 2cups of water inside the roasting pan because that water gets the ham moist and it serves as a "dip" when you glaze the ham. Any glaze that falls down to the bottom of the pan, falls into that water and it is delicious! Once the ham is done and you are ready to serve the ham slices, dip the slices of ham into that glazed water mixture at the bottom of the pan. It makes the ham so moist and you get to taste the glaze a bit more.

Best Lemonade Ever

I really like this lemonade. If you think it's too sweet, use as much sugar as you want. I use 1 1/3 -1 1/4 cup of sugar. Depending on the size of your lemons, 1 1/2 cups of lemon juice equals 7-8 lemons. Don't forget to leave the pulp. It makes the lemonade look so pretty and it tastes good, too.

Fluffy Pancakes

I followed the recipe exactly and it was delicious. I have done this recipe quite a few times since I found it. It is definitely a recipe I am keeping to feed my family. I'd recommend others to try it. Oh, and I did let the batter sit a while and got nice, fluffy pancakes.

Apple Crumb Pie

I ALWAYS follow any recipe EXACTLY as stated, and to be honest, this pie came out delicious on my first try! I often read reviews of people who CHANGED so many things and still give the recipe a bad review. I don't know why people do that! They shouldn't complain it was bad UNLESS they actually followed the recipe exactly. ANYWAY, sorry for my rant. I followed the recipe EXACTLY and it was delicious. I definitely recommend it. I DIDN'T change anything. The walnuts and raisins are optional, but I added the walnuts only & I'm glad I did because it gave the pie a nice crunchyness. I used 6 granny smith apples.

Satiny Chocolate Glaze

I ADDED A PHOTO OF MY DONUT MUFFINS but I made them look like donuts by using a measuring cup and foil forming them into 'cups'. This recipe is delicious. I don't use light corn syrup. Instead, I use honey as a substitute. That was the ONLY thing I changed, and I followed the recipe exactly. I don't have a double boiler, so I just boiled water in a medium pot and placed a wok on top (or any saucepan/pot that doesn't sink down). I waited until it heated and then I pour the ingredients in there and it melted nicely. I did all that because we don't have a microwave. It was easy to do, and I'm very happy with the results. I used this glaze to pour on top of DONUT MUFFINS (recipe on this site). DELICIOUS!

Donut Muffins

These were absolutely delicious! I'm keeping this recipe! I've made them twice so far. 1st time: I followed the recipe exactly; however, I'll reduce the sugar (the one for coating) a BIT b/c I had some left over. I wanted it to seem like a donut so I used chocolate glaze to pour on top of the muffin. I used the glaze from this site (Sanity Chocolate Glaze). 2nd time: I really wanted to them to look like donuts so I used a measuring cup to form a circular 'cup' and poured the batter into 3 of the foil 'cups'. I didn't pour too much since they puff up. After they were done, I took them out and cut a hole in the middle of each foil muffin cup, then after I coated then, I brushed chocolate glaze! They totally looked like donuts! And were delicious! I ADDED THREE PHOTOS of THEM to THIS RECIPE, so you can CHECK IT OUT if you wanna see how they came out :) I just wished I had sprinkles and it would have been perfect donuts!

Chicken Enchiladas V

These were delicious. I used Jalapeno peppers and it was spicy! I followed the recipe exactly and it was great. I'm definitely keeping this recipe and will make it again and again. You can also add other favorite ingredients you want! It's great!

Aunt Anne's Coffee Cake

I really wanted to love this cake, but it just didn't taste very good. I think it has potential, but I'm not going to waste my time trying to 'save' it. I thought it was bland. I followed the recipe EXACTLY as written. I even made this recipe TWICE in case I did something wrong without knowing, but I CAREFULLY followed it again and it still tasted bland. I later baked another recipe from this site (Cranberry Upside Down Coffee Cake) and THAT one was ACTUALLY absolutely delicious.

Strawberry Oatmeal Breakfast Smoothie

I've made this a few times, and followed the recipe exactly. I think it tastes quite good and it is filling. I usually drink this smoothie before going to class when I'm in a rush. It's very quick to make and it's healthy for you. Oh, when I'm out of strawberries, I use powdered chocolate (the one you use to make chocolate milk for kids). It tastes just as delicious as when you add strawberries, so if you run out of strawberries, you can substitute it with chocolate. I definitely recommend this for people who want to make a quick healthy, delicious AND FILLING breakfast smoothie. If you usually don't have time to sit and eat breakfast at the table like me, I highly recommend you to try this recipe at least once. It's very good :)

Jay's Signature Pizza Crust

I followed the recipe exactly and it came out great! It was my first time making a pizza crust so I was a bit nervous, but it was delicious! I also used "Easy Pizza Sauce III" from this site and wow, it was so delicious. I'm definitely making my own pizza from now on. :) I would recommend the recipe. Just follow instructions!!!

Easy Pizza Sauce III

I followed the recipe exactly and it came out wonderful. I also used "Jay's Signature Pizza Crust" from this site and together it was delicious. I would definitely recommend this recipe. Follow the recipe as written! I think the amount of oregano is FINE. I'm surprised some people said to use less than what the recipe calls for, but I think it gives way more flavor. Just take it the sauce and if you think it has enough oregano, just don't add the rest.

Terry's Texas Pinto Beans

I've made this recipe MANY times. I followed the recipe as written. It's great! I like my food spicy, so I use 3 jalapenos! Garnish with some cilantro on top ;) It's good. By the way, you should try pork skins with these beans. Just use the pork skins as "tortilla chips" by scooping up some beans. It tastes so good. The whole combo is absolutely delicious. Try it out at least once :)

Easy Shake and Bake Chicken

I followed the recipe as written and it was delicious! You may want to double up the spices for more flavor though. That's what I did the second time around because I loved this recipe and I knew that if I doubled it, it would be better, and I was right!
