Bacon Wrapped Smokies

Every time I make these, they are a crowd pleaser! I've just popped a batch out of the oven as a pre-Super Bowl snack for my husband to enjoy. He asks every year when I'm working on his menu for the big game if I will be making his 'man candy' again. I make the recipe as written, with no changes.

Banana and Vanilla Cupcakes with Buttercream Frosting

Just made these yesterday and iced them this morning. They are absolutely delicious. Old-fashioned true cake flavor, texture and density that you just can't get from a box. And the icing is a perfect compliment!

White Texas Sheet Cake

This cake is ahhh-mazing! Just took it out of the oven and could barely wait for it to cool before sampling! I made it exactly as written, but did not need quite as much confectioner's sugar as the recipe called for.

Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Cheesecake

My first time making a cheesecake and this one turned out perfectly! I, too, made the cookie pieces a bit smaller. I also preheated the oven to 350 and then backed it off to 250 when the cake went in, cooked for 1.5 hours and then turned the oven off and let the cake sit in there for an hour before opening the oven door. Cooked thoroughly and no cracks!

Chicken Bog

Back WAY off on the italian seasoning, but don't omit it completely because it enhances the flavor of the sausage. No need to salt it in addition to the boullion and broth. This is SO yummy!!
