Adam's Apple Cake

Reviewed: Jan. 16, 2014
So simple and delicious. I use coconut oil and 5 small apples and sometimes a 1/4 ts of nutmeg. It freezes beautifully. Going to bake up a few and save in the freezer for company. I also added nuts a couple times. It always comes out great and is excellent just the way Adam makes it!

Chef John's Pumpkin Pancakes

Reviewed: Oct. 27, 2012
Well 5 stars for flavor. That lemon really makes for a delicate fine tasting pancake! I put a little too much liquid and made an ugly mess that delighted the taste buds. This is the best pumpkin pancake recipe I've found.

Easiest Oven Baked Chicken

Reviewed: Oct. 1, 2012
Made this a couple times with melted butter. Its good. Then went back to using just mayonnaise in a plastic bag to coat the chicken then into a bag with bread crumbs and seasoning. Quicker.

Roasted Garlic Zucchini and Tomatoes

Reviewed: Aug. 26, 2012
I make this on the stovetop including yellow squash. Makes a bright addition. Sometomes i will cook up ground beef with some garlic separately and mix it in with the veggies on the stove to blend the flavors for about 10 mins

My nonni used to make this too! She would sometimes add boiled shredded chicken to make a meal. So good.

Sauteed Garlic Asparagus

Reviewed: Mar. 23, 2012
Read a lot of reviews before I made this...cut mine into 1 1/2 inch pieces used half the butter for 8 mins. garlic did not burn and It was finely minced....4 cloves. Second, the asparagus did not need to be blanched it came out perfectly crisp and beautifully green.....thanks for a great recipe...will try adding wine, soy or lemon juice as others suggested for variation. So quick, easy and delicious.
