Uncle Bill's Chicken Strips

Reviewed: Jan. 10, 2003
This was a pretty yummy and simple recipe. Turned out moist and tender, but a little soggy due to the butter. I used regular milk and a few drops of lemon juice instead of buttermilk.

Strawberry Romaine Salad I

Reviewed: Jun. 13, 2005
My husband and I both enjoyed this recipe very much. The only thing I would do differently next time is cut down on the sugar, it was a bit sweet for my taste. I added pecans and fresh sliced mushrooms to the salad. Great way to use up my fresh strawberries!

Mary's Pecan Crusted Chicken

Reviewed: Jan. 4, 2005
I thought this recipe sounded way better than it turned out. My dh (who isn't a nut lover), said it tasted like cardboard, he scraped the coating off and ate the chicken. I was hoping the coating would have more of a sweet flavor.

Airport Bob's Green Beans

Reviewed: Nov. 21, 2008
These were superb! I was looking for something to make with frozen green beans because I don't care for them plain. My whole family loved these. I used turkey bacon and 1/2 Smart Balance 1/2 butter blend. Can't wait to try these using fresh green beans next summer.

These are really good and moist. I make these about every 2 weeks. I have made the sauce once and don't care for it though.

I made muffins with this mixture and they were so moist and delicious. I had second thoughts while mixing it, it was so thick but turned out fine.

Davy's Gravy

Reviewed: Nov. 12, 2004
My dh and I both thought this was only OK. It reminded me of a kicked-up version of hamburger helper, but way better. It worked good in a pinch, but I don't think I will make it again.

Pollo Fajitas

Reviewed: May 21, 2003
These fajitas turned out excellent. I used boneless, skinless chicken breasts. I wrapped the chicken in foil and put them on the bbq, to keep them moist. I added a little bit of lemon juice (lime would be better) and some bottled italian dressing. They almost tasted as good as the ones at our favorite mexican restaurant!

Beef Marinade I

Reviewed: May 16, 2003
This made the most delicious steak I have ever had. I used a big piece of flank steak and only let it marinade for a day, then I bbq'd it on real high heat, real quick. It was juicy, flavorful and so tender. YUM!!

Enchilada Casserole II

Reviewed: Nov. 14, 2002
I don't know what happened with this recipe but my husband and I thought it had no taste, I even used enchilada sauce in it. I agree, it needs something else, but it was fairly easy anyway.

Marinade for Steak I

Reviewed: Mar. 4, 2008
I marinated 3 huge chuck steaks in this yesterday and grilled 2 of them on the George Foreman grill for dinner. I left the 3rd one in the marinade and froze it that way for later use. Can't wait to see how it turns out. I will use a more tender cut of meat next time though.

Strawberry Cheese Pie

This pie is delicious! I cheated by using a store bought graham crust, which I like more than regular pie crusts anyway. I love the almond flavor in the filling-mmmm.

Barbequed Marinated Flank Steak

Reviewed: Jul. 29, 2003
This is a great and tasty marinade. I loved the touch of sweetness. I added a couple of fresh garlic cloves. I didn't have flank steak so I used top round and it still turned out fairly tender. Would be good to slice thin and make steak sandwiches.

Yummy sauce on bbq'd hamburgers. A good change from the plain old mayo. I will be using this from now on.
