Lemon Scones

Added zest from the entire lemon. Made the sour milk with lemon juice instead of vinegar. Made a yummy glaze of powered sugar and lemon juice. Very nice scone, 15 minute bake time was fine, as mine were separated in the baking sheet. Also added 2 tsp. poppy seeds. Yum!

Delicious Ham and Potato Soup

I needed to make dinner for company and I had all the ingredients for this recipe. I decided to trust over 5,000 positive reviews and make it without having made it before. I am glad I did. I made it exactly as directed. It was delicous and enjoyed by all. I woud definitely recommend it to others and I will be making it again.

Cinnamon Rolls III

Wow, these were so delicious! I made for my daughter's sleepover. They were easy to make the night before, then I popped in the fridge. The next morning I heated water in the microwave to warm it up, then put the cold rolls in the microwave to warm up while the baking oven came up to temp. Not sure I needed to do that step, but I did. They baked up great and we loved them. I will definitely make these again.

White Chocolate Orange Cookies

I added three drops of orange oil to enhance the zest, gave cookies a great orange flavor. I didn't realize I was low on white chips -- used one cup whitel, one cup chocolate. I am a person that doesn't really like white chocolate, but in this recipe, I belive they fit the application better than regular choc. chips. More subtle flavor with the orange with the white chips. People liked them, but agreed they would be better with all white chips.

Rich Chocolate Frosting

Used it to top One Bowl Chocolate Cake III and it was excellent -- only needed 1/2 the recipe (used a raspberry filling). Spread nice, piped nicely, held up well.

One Bowl Chocolate Cake III

Wow, I am not the biggest chocolate cake fan, but my friend is, so I looked for a recipe that would be tasty -- an hopefully better than a box mix. This recipe was IT! I thought it had wonderful flavor and was very moist with a nice, rich dark color. I used regular Hershay's cocoa, and everyone said "Oh, you must have used expensive, fancy chocolate". Will definitely make again. I used "Rich Chocolate Frosting" from this site and it went great together (I made 1/2 the recipe because I made a raspberry filling to put between the layers), and it was plenty to frost and pipe a couple of rows of shells. ENJOY!

Buttercream Frosting

Good flavor, good texture. Made this recipe to spread over some shortbread cookies. Made it a bit thinner to help with the particular shape of cookie I was frosting. Would definitely make again.

Zucchini-Chocolate Chip Muffins

I have made this recipe several time now. My daughter, who will eat nothing green, asks for these muffins! She even grates the zucchini to go into them. I have made them with all the oil and half oil and hald applesauce -- both are great, can't really tell a difference.

Becky's Chicken Salad

I have made this recipe many, many times. I use about 3/4c. mayo and 1/4 tsp. cayene (as suggested by another reviewer). Often I don't bother with the whipped cream, just use the mayo. We love it.

Luscious Slush Punch

This is excellent punch, which is enjoyed buy children and adults. It is always a hit when I make it. I enjoy having two punch bowls worth -- it the party is big, enough for the night, or sometimes, enough for two different nights!

Party Potatoes

Wow, these are great and have become a standard at our house on holidays. I sometimes make them the night before, put in the casserole I am going to serve in and cover with a very thin layer of milk, then place saran wrap tightly on the milk to seal. They heat up wonderfully -- do take a bit more than 30 minutes this way though to get warm thru the middle.

Jamie's Cranberry Spinach Salad

I have made this several times now. I substitute splenda in the dressing and it works fine. This makes alot, it doesn't hold well, so often I will put about 1/2 the dressing on 1/2 the salad, if I don't need the rest, still fresh for the next day. A winner!

Mexican Spiced Turkey Tortilla Soup
