Cherry Pie Filling

Reviewed: Nov. 8, 2013
Didn't turn out for me. I followed the directions exactly. The taste was okay but I could taste cornstarch even though it was mixed all the way. Never thickened up.

Grocery Store Frosting

I did halved the recipe and added 10 drops of doTERRA lemon essential oils and it was wonderful! A sweet hint of lemon was delicious and I can't wait to try grapefruit next.

My husband made these and we loved them. It's hard to find good Chinese food in our area so that's why we sought out this recipe.

Best Lemonade Ever

Reviewed: May 1, 2013
This is the best lemonade my husband and I have ever had. We juice our lemons in our juicer and sometimes add some strawberries or raspberries to it and it is excellent and smooth with no pulp.

Playoff Meatballs

Reviewed: Jan. 17, 2015
Made these for a pot luck event and they were gone in a flash even though I doubled the recipe. I took the suggestion of others and used bread crumbs instead of oats and I added garlic salt. I used Famous Dave's sweet and sassy bbq sauce. They were delicious and this is our go to recipe for meatballs now. My only regret was not having left overs to enjoy.

Double Chocolate Pie

Reviewed: Feb. 17, 2014
Made it last minute in a hurry for a family dinner & everyone loved it! The recipe is enough to fill up two pie shells or we save the extras and eat them like pudding. I didn't realize it needed to chill so long so I threw it in the freezer while we ate dinner and it was perfectly chilled by dessert time. You can taste the cornstarch a little which is my only complaint.

Basic Fondue

Reviewed: Nov. 8, 2013
Great fondue! It's easy to make. We use this for nachos or just dipping cooked broccoli, carrots, and bread into. It makes a lot and doesn't heat up very well because it separates so we make a batch just big enough for us to eat right away.

This recipe makes a lot so I sent some bags of it to my husband's work and it was gone in a flash. It's a great crowd pleaser.

Old Fashioned Onion Rings

Reviewed: Aug. 19, 2015
My husband is not a fan of onions but we both enjoyed these. I made sure to buy a large sweet onion. Love how crispy they are. They taste like restaurant quality.

Zucchini Brownies

Reviewed: Jul. 23, 2015
So chocolaty and rich, these are perfect when you are in some serious need of chocolate. I am saving that chocolate frosting recipe to use on other desserts as well. It is thick and tastes like the frosting from a can but much better because it is home made. My husband was so skeptical to try these because he does not like zucchini but once he tried them he loved them and admitted he could not tell at all that there was zucchini. I used the small grater so that the zucchini was not in big shreds. My sister is picky on the brownies that she likes and she said these were the best she has ever had. This recipe is easy too and earns all 5 stars!

Kentucky Biscuits

Reviewed: Feb. 8, 2015
Made just as recipe said and loved them. We usually use Grands rolls for biscuits and gravy but had buttermilk that needed used so I chose this recipe. Very easy to make and well worth the effort. Although the 6x6 inch size struck me as odd - it worked great. My husband raved about these and they were great warmed up with honey and butter the next morning.

Got great reviews from family and friends! Very soft & delicious. My only complaint is that I could taste the baking powder & it gave it kind of a funny taste.

Sue's Hot Fudge Sauce

Reviewed: Dec. 24, 2013
I followed suggestions of others and put less sugar and butter. I doubled the recipe but just changed the butter to 3 cubes and the sugar to 5 cups. It turned out smooth and wonderful. We jarred these and gave them out as Christmas presents.

We really enjoyed this recipe but next time might cut the sausage into smaller pieces or may try it with cooked ground sausage.
