Apple Banana Cupcakes

Reviewed: Feb. 2, 2013
Followed recipe exactly and cooked muffins for only 16 minutes. BURNED I think 375 is too hot for this recipe. I will try next time at 350 or even 325. Bottoms were burned and cake was not quite done

Very good. I used a whole chicken and doubled the recipe. Came out wonderful. I used mild diced tomatoes with green chiles. Gives it a great taste and not too hot.

This is so easy and so good. Slow cooker for about 7 hours, BBQ sauce, Buns, Pickles, Onions, big glass of southern ice tea and you have the best barbeque sandwich dinner. Delicious. I was skeptical about the rootbeer but it is great. My son loves this. I used a boston butt and is turns out fantastid. I have made this several times and alway good.

Judy's Strawberry Pretzel Salad

Reviewed: Apr. 9, 2011
I made this for my familly and it was just ok. The top is wonderful but the pretzel bottom did not go with the cream cheese and strawberry mix. Would be great with graham cracker bottom.

Black-Eyed Pea Gumbo

Reviewed: Jan. 2, 2011
this is an excellent recipe. Not real hot but you can taste the green chiles. If you like hot add 2 cans of rotel tomatoes and omit the regular can of tomatoes. I will make this again.

Amaretto Cake

very good cake. I made it ahead and kept drizzling the glaze over it from the bottom them drizzled the top of the cake. It absorbs the glaze. Very good.

Pumpkin Whoopie Pies

Reviewed: Oct. 3, 2010
I made the pies with the original recipe as is but used the cream cheese frosting II. I baked the pies for 9 minutes and they were great. The only problem is when storing the cookies they stuck to everything,(wax paper, plates, cooling rack) then they are not as pleasing to the eye but still taste great. I too used the 2T scoop to measure my dough, came out perfect size every time. You need to be consistent with size so that the matching side will be the same. Very good.
