Family Favorite Apple Crisp

Reviewed: Sep. 24, 2013
This recipe results in a perfect, classic apple crisp. Nothing needs to be "tweaked", added, subtracted or substituted. I took this apple crisp to a senior's centre party at which I volunteered, and it disappeared within minutes. Anyone who wanted second was disappointed. Lovely recipe. Sudie. Thanks.

Amazing Spinach Artichoke Casserole

Reviewed: Nov. 17, 2011
This is a great recipe as is. Do not try making it something it isn't by using light cream cheese, light sour cream and especially not margarine in place of butter. This is a rich, delicious side dish. If you want a fat free, PC side, eat some raw carrots. If you want a lovingly prepared, perfectly family-friendly dish, this is it.

Easy Black Bottom Cupcakes

Reviewed: Apr. 1, 2011
Why do people insist on changing/adding to/subtracting from/substituting in recipes AND THEN RATING THE RECIPE ?? Do us all a favour and stop it. If you want to post your "new and improved" (more often "new and destroyed") recipe, go ahead, but hijacking the original recipe with your "improvements" is really obnoxious.

Cheese Sauce Over Cauliflower

Reviewed: Feb. 14, 2011
This is a great, simple, classic recipe. I substituted garlic butter for regular butter, but followed the rest of the ingredient list to a "t". My family loves it.

Fudge-Nut Oatmeal Bars

Reviewed: Jan. 16, 2011
Okay, who's the most popular staff member at my office? These bars were annihilated within 15 minutes of the pan touching the lunchroom table. I tweaked the recipe a bit, using deluxe mixed nuts as I think walnuts are gross, and making 50% more of the oatmeal mixture and dividing it in two and completely covered the chocolate/nut mixture so that the bars were heavenly little fudge sandwiches. I've already been asked to bring these treats to work again ASAP.
