My Own Famous Stuffed Grape Leaves

Reviewed: Jul. 13, 2002
I've made these twice - once with ground veal and once without the veal & olive oil. I like it without the veal and the olive oil. I use jarred grape leaves from a speciality store so I don't have to cook them as long (but they aren't shiny green either). I agree w/ Rick, for a main dish, I like my leaves bigger than the recipe directs. To help keep them closed during the simmering, sqeeze the stuffed leaves w/ your hand before placing in the pot. I crave these, they are so good! Thanks Patti!

Garden Herb Loaf

Wonderful smelling and tasting. Very good the next day. Next time I will add more herbs since I was expecting more herb flavor.

Herbed Eggplant Slices

Reviewed: Jan. 14, 2001
This is good for something different. It was still tasty without the garlic (food allergy).

Baked Vegetables I

Yummy!! Be sure to cut the potatoes small since these take much longer to cook.

Banana Bread IV

Reviewed: Aug. 7, 2000
This is the only banana bread recipe I have used since I found this one in 2000 (sorry, mom). I have tried a few others but always come back to this one. One change I make is to split the recipe into 3, not 2, glass loaf pans. Yes, the bread is sweet, so cut the sugar by 0.5-1 cup if desired. I have a batch in the oven now - smells heavenly!

Tuna Salad With Fresh Dill

Reviewed: Jul. 18, 2000
I must say that this is the tastiest tuna recipe I've had in a while! So easy and quick too. Can use dried herbs but the fresh ones are better. Thanks for the great recipe Jessica.

Aunt Millie's Broccoli Casserole

Reviewed: Apr. 15, 2000
This is really cheesy and without too much of a salty taste. I used crackers instead of croutons and it still was excellent. Thanks!
