Banana Banana Bread

Reviewed: Sep. 21, 2012
Great recipe! I did make some changes so only 4 stars. Wheat flour, 3 large bananas( 2 1/3 thoroughly mixed, the last piece thrown in before panning) Egg whites, cap full of vanilla and a dash of coconut flavor. It rose very well and tastes amazing.

Oatmeal Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 6, 2011
Just the hubby and me for Thanksgiving so I made these instead of pie or cake. They were easy and so good I almost didn't want to share them. We gave some to our neighbors and they loved them as well. I am thinking next to use the recipe to make apple oatmeal cookies. 5 stars all the way!

Salmon with Brown Sugar Glaze

Reviewed: Oct. 24, 2011
It was good don't get me wrong. Very easy as well. The salmon itself was bland though. The glaze provided some flavor to the outside however not enough to make the entire fish taste good. I think I would marinade it first. Hubby said it was a little sweet but he is more of a savory person, he still liked it though. It was a nice change in pace:)

Beef Stew VI

Reviewed: Oct. 18, 2011
I am breaking my diet to eat this and I am glad that I am. It is not even off of the stove yet and it tastes amazing. It will need a few more pinches of salt but, I am smitten. Even if you make changes to the original recipe this is a great way to get started.

I did use " I cant believe its not butter" and they turned out great. A little wet on the bottom but if you let them sit that will clear up just fine. very easy, very quick and taste very good :)

Cream Scones

Reviewed: Apr. 30, 2011
Love recipes that are easy and leave room for improvisation. I made Blackberry/Raspberry scones with fresh fruit instead of dried. The dough was sticky but it all worked out well. So tasty! Might make a glaze to go over top :)

Carrot Cake

Reviewed: Apr. 24, 2011
I made this cake for my mothers 65th birthday/ Easter dinner. It turned out moist and delicious. I used cream cheese frosting II because so many people suggested it. Very good! I also love this recipe because you can add almost anything. I added ripe apples and figs along with the carrots. I also added nutmeg. Follow the suggestions they helped a lot but otherwise this cake was easy and sooo good!

Reviewed: Nov. 25, 2010
i picked this recipie becasue it was simple i left out the almonds because its thanksgiving and i didnt want to run back out to the store. i did however add instant espresso and they are delicious and so easy ! the only reason why im not giving it full stars is because of the stickiness it made it hard to put out into the pan but taste wise they are amazing
