Dump Cake I

This reminds me of pineapple upside down cake. I think next time I may add coconut, however this was really good and lasted about 2 hours in my house, before the whole pan was gone.

Jenny's Black Forest Cake

These cookies are tasty! All I had was a sheet pan so I used that.(Dimensions are a little different.) I brushed the egg white on with a marinating brush and used a sifter to sprinkle the cinnamon and sugar on top evenly. My three year old says these cookies are yummy.

Strawberry Coffee Cake

Shrimp Linguine Alfredo

Great easy recipe. Sauce thickened up fine for me...After adding the half and half, keep the stove on high and constantly stir it. It took about 10 or 15 minutes to thicken up, but it did get thicker. Added the parmesan and pepper after, and mixed it all together.

Rempel Family Meatloaf

Great meatloaf! One of my kids who hates meatloaf actually ate all of his. I made it last night for dinner. I don't like to adjust recipes, but had to because I didn't have steak sauce like I thought. I substituted with 2 tbsps of teriyaki marinade...Also when I mixed everything it seemed a little too wet, so I added 1/2 cp seasoned bread crumbs. Came out perfect. Thanks!

Cola Pot Roast II

I made it for dinner in the crock pot. Cooked it on high for 6 hrs. Took the meat out(couldn't afford $36 for the sirloin, so got a rump roast) and cut as it said..and it fell right apart. I did make alterations, but only because I like to make one big meal in the crock. I didnt chop the carrots, I added a bag of baby carrots. Also I added some small red potatoes to it. I added a couple tsps of flour to thicken the gravy and had to add salt to the food, because it did lack that..But the pot roast really was awesome and veggies. :) My other half was hesitant...because of the soda..but he loved it. He actually had thirds!

Grandmother's Oatmeal Cookies

Great recipe..The dough was not dry at all for me..In fact it was a little too moist to form balls with.. I had to use a teaspoon to form balls with it. I found I didn't have any vanilla extract in my cupboard and these still tasted awesome. I made them yesterday and still are moist and chewy. :)

Pineapple Upside-Down Cake V

Excellent recipes..But I did not have enough sliced pineapple to cover the cake. There were only 4 pieces in the can. Anyway, the cake still tasted excellent..Next time I will just get an extra can of sliced pineapples and maybe a little more crushed pineapple, to make the middle a little thicker. :) Thanks!

Cream of Broccoli Soup I

This was awesome..Generally I don't change a recipe..But I used 2 cups of heavy cream, 1/2 cup 1% milk, couldn't find the nutmeg so didn't use it, a dash of salt, and added two cups of shredded cheddar while it was cooking. EXCELLENT.

Three Cheese Garlic Scalloped Potatoes

This recipe was awesome. I just got done making it. I don't usually add extra things, but I had ham left over from the other night so I added it. Also I asked the male of the house to go get me a package of cheddar cheese that would be enough for two cups. He came home with an 8oz package. :p Anyways I used that and a cup of mozzarella to make up for it. And I did add a little bit of minced onion too..DELICIOUS! I am serious..This was the best!
