Peach Cobbler Dump Cake I

Reviewed: Oct. 3, 2003
Was ok...didn't drain the peaches which added some more liquid. Also added some cinnamon and sugar as topping. Will make again, as it's easy. Be careful to not overbake as it dries out quickly.

German Sauerkraut Soup

Reviewed: Feb. 4, 2003
Very good! Even my husband and 8 yr old son loved it....and didn't complain about left-overs the next night! Very important to temper the sour cream.....a bit of a hassle, but a definite must!

Polish Pickles

Reviewed: Feb. 4, 2003
I need to double this recipe the next time I bring it anywhere!!!! These were snatched up pretty quickly!! And talk about easy to make....my "not-very-handy-in-the-kitchen" husband was able to finish making these after I got him started!

Irish Cream Bundt Cake

Reviewed: Dec. 23, 2002
I have made this cake twice now. Once for a dinner at work, and the other for an anniversary dinner for my parents. Both times it was a success, with lots of rave reviews. I have since passed this recipe on to several other women (and a few guys). I did follow another reviewer's suggestion and put the cake back into the pan to "soak" for about 20 minutes (I put approx 2/3 of the glaze in the cake pan...returned the cake...spooned the rest over the cake "bottom" and let it sit for about 20 minutes before removing it from the pan again. Gives the cake a good chance to soak in the glaze and you get a wonderful sugary crust on the top.

Banana Crumb Muffins

Reviewed: Dec. 3, 2002
These were yummy....my 8 yr old lovesssss banana bread and gobbled these up too! The streusel topping made this muffin unique and I used that same idea with another type of muffin later in the week. Wonderful way to use up bananas...will rival banana bread in our house.

Chili Dog Casserole II

Reviewed: Nov. 19, 2002
Not too bad...husband liked it, but 8 yr old son didn't like the canned chili. Never use canned chili to begin with, but gave it a whirl. My son wanted me to make this again, but with "my" chili. Next time, I'll try it with homemade chili. Definately a good recipe for chili dog lovers....a nice change.
