About this Cook
Iron Chef has changed my life in the kitchen forever. I am constantly searching the internet, books and family recipes in order to strengthen my skills. I live two lives, I work with children during the day and I become iron chef Jr. at night.I really enjoy cooking and I especially look forward in seeing the smiles that I receive when people taste my cooking.
My favorite things to cook
Some of my favorite things to cook are lemon parm.tilapia, shrimp and scallop scampi, mashed potatoes, smothered turkey wings, breaded turkey chops and last but not least stir fry string beans.
My favorite family cooking traditions
I love Thanksgiving time each person has an opportunity to bring a dish. I also love to watch my God Father cook on Sunday evenings I've learned so many cooking techniques from him as well .
My cooking triumphs
My tasters love my chicken bundles as well as the swedish chicken that I have learned to perfect.
My cooking tragedies
I haven't had good success with making crab cakes and steamed fish.

Herbie's Home Fries
Man! What an easy way to make home fries! I remember, as a little girl, my mom would make them and it seemed like the hardest thing in the world. The potatoes took so long to cook. However, boiling the potatoes first really cut down the cooking time in this recipe. Oh yea and I didn't use the Hungarian paprika I used some regular paprika and of course the home fries were still delicious.
