Caprese Burger

Reviewed: Apr. 21, 2011
This recipe makes for a tasty burger. I used ground turkey instead of ground beef and the Turkey took on all of the flavors nicely!

Nina's Cucumber Salad

Reviewed: Jul. 23, 2012
I was out of Red Onion so I used Green Onions. I was so used to the old style vinegar and mayo recipe that I was thrilled to taste this light, fresh tasting version! Kudos!

Very good! I used chicken andouille sausage to cut fat but was still wonderful and husband did not even notice the difference!

Swedish Meatballs I

Reviewed: Apr. 1, 2011
This was good but made some tasty tweaks. 1. I had frozen meatballs so I went ahead and used those. 2. I sauteed 2 cloves garlic and one small onion in a pan. 3. Then I added butter and fresh mushrooms. 4. Stir these into the soups in the casserole pan. (The casserole pan does not need to be greased) 5. Add the baked meatballs and cook as directed. 6. When it came out of the oven I added a few dollops of sour cream and stirred it in. 7. I then added the fresh parsley and a couple squeezes of lemon was KEY!!! Yum! YUM!

Caramelized Chicken Wings

Reviewed: Oct. 18, 2012
The flavor is good but these are SUPER SWEET! I am surprised that not many other reviewers mentioned that fact. Next time, I will reduce the sugar and add crushed red pepper or cayenne pepper for some depth of flavor.

Yuck! I followed the recipe along with some of the suggestions and it was terrible. Not sure why everyone likes this, the spinach was so soggy!

Spicy Lemon Pork Saute

Reviewed: Feb. 26, 2012
Ehhh...I followed the recipe but I am not sure why this would be really good. We love lemon and spice but this was weird. The lemon was so sour and there was nothing to balance the acid. Will not make again!
