About this Cook
I'm a random 15 year old. I am the oldest of 10 kids, in a household that totals to 13, the youngest is a newborn, and the oldest is 93. I have always liked baking sugar cookie cut outs with my mom and younger siblings when I was little, and now I help make the meals to help my mom get dinner on the table. I want to be a great wife and mother someday, and making a good meal filling up hungry bellies and making my husband happy is defiantly a requirement. I hope to get married possibly before college, or within the first year, so I wanna pile on experience before I say 'I do'.
My favorite things to cook
I really like cooking soups, pasta, sauces, meaty dinners, side dishes, almost anything really, and I love baking. I love creating something new and improve things. I only like making homemade dishes, and store bought, 'semi-homemade' 'food' is not my cup of tea. With me, it's al or nothing. Making other people happy makes me feel happy and good tasty food makes people really happy.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Baking sugar cookies at Christmas and watching my brothers and sisters get flour all over the place. Easter we always have some dessert. My mom always wants to start a new tradition, but we somehow find something better once it's time to make the dish the next year. It's pretty hilarious actually.
My cooking tragedies
I have failed SO many times, and always feel so awful, especially because our budget is so tight. I strive to never fail when making things, a pretty stupid thing to strive for.

Dad's Divinity
Turned out nice. I am notta fan of divinity, but turned out perfectly. Everyone who tried it liked it.

Cream Puff Shells
These turned out lovely. I doubled the recipe and came out with about 40 medium sized shells. Crispy, slightly chewy, light. I filled them with homemade vanilla infused sweetened whipped cream, make sure it's stiff, and then immersed them in chocolate. My whole family loved them. I will make again.

I can never make caramels right. It always burns and always gets too hard, even with my thermometer. The taste is delicious, hence my 3 stars. I am good at making caramel sauce, and invented my own recipe. I can make candy, just not caramel.
