Smoky Grilled Pork Chops

Reviewed: Sep. 5, 2012
Very good! I'll probably use half the salt and fresh garlic next time, but this has nice flavor as written.

Chewy Cocoa Brownies

Reviewed: Aug. 5, 2012
Very tasty, almost fudge-like. A little sticky without the powdered sugar (which I tried initially). Will make again!

Tangy Slow Cooker Pork Roast

Reviewed: Jul. 25, 2012
Ho hum...needs more seasonings to be palatable for me. The meat turned out tender, so that is a big plus and means the cooking times are spot on. For next time, I will half the sugar, omit the ketchup and add worchester.

Famous Chicken Adobo

Reviewed: Jul. 14, 2012
This is SOOOOOO GOOD! My roommate in college was Filipino and this tastes like the adobo her mother would make. I'm so glad you posted this one. The only change I made was to use Bragg's liquid aminos instead of soy sauce to cut the sodium, and it was wonderful.

Fluffy Pancakes

Reviewed: Jul. 14, 2012
Fantastic! Without changing the recipe a bit, I fed 4 picky little eaters with these pancakes. This will be a regular recipe for us. Note the servings...this only makes 8 pancakes. Most people will have to double or triple the recipe for a family.

Chicken Cordon Bleu II

Reviewed: Sep. 27, 2010
Wonderful and easy! 6 tablespoons of butter seemed a bit much, so I only used 3 and probably could have gotten away with less than that. The sauce has a silky but slightly thin consistancy that didn't stick to the chicken very well; I will likely use a little more corn starch in the future. Also, I used smoked paprika which made the sauce look orange but with great flavor. I saved the left over sauce (this recipe makes plenty!) and served it over poached eggs in the morning. I'll definitely be making this one again!
