About this Cook
My love of baking came from a family member who was a professional chef/pastry chef. She had a huge impact on my life and my love for food.
My favorite things to cook
Dessert! I've become an expert in my family on creme brulee, eggnog, cobblers, and cookies. <3 And I loooove making all of them!
My cooking tragedies
I was making a sandwich with a cacciatore chicken-inspired recipe, and instead of adding two teaspoons chili powder, I added two tablespoons! Delicious, no doubt, but super spicey!

Texas Glazed Pecans
After reading some of the reviews before mine, I replaced half of the white sugar for brown sugar. It really did make all the difference! They're not too sweet, but just enough. I experimented with the spices, and found that over the holidays, it's nice to add a little nutmeg in there. I"ll definitely be sending these to my loved ones for Christmas!
