Roasted Garlic Cauliflower

Reviewed: May 29, 2012
WOW. I hate cauliflower...or did until just now! My changes were: coarse grey sea salt, freshly minced garlic, covered with foil and baked for 20min, then broiled on high for 5min. I am giving 5 stars because it is so easy and could be versatile (balsamic vinegar comes to mind) if one chose. I served with curried brown rice and Parmesan broiled squash slices. Thank you!

Roasted Vegetables

Reviewed: Feb. 14, 2012
This was exactly what I was looking for! I used carrots, beets (in a mini loaf pan to prevent staining), baby golds, sweet onion, and after 20 min, added halved brussels sprouts and turnips. I also left my fresh herbs in the oil (sealed) overnight. Thank you!

Butternut Squash Soup with Spinach Ravioli

Reviewed: Feb. 14, 2012
I messed this up and it still came out delish! Did not have cumin, spinach ravioli, or cream; used coriander, mushroom ravioli and 2% milk. "Pureed" (with a blender, so it ended up more like a chowder) before the onion step to leave them whole. SO YUM!!

Reviewed: Jul. 5, 2011
Made this yesterday, turned out just like I remembered from childhood! Used 1/2 tbsp of brown sugar was only change.

Spicy Maryland Crab Dip

Reviewed: Jul. 5, 2011
I used this in a mini crock pot as as an appetizer and served it with a mini french loaf. I left out the sour cream, and upped the cheddar until it became thick enough (prob. 2c). I use salt free garlic powder and low sodium Old Bay, and the amount was PERFECT, not too salty at all. This was so easy and everyone loved it. It tastes better than anything in Fell's Point! Thank you!!

Maple Walnut Fudge

Reviewed: Dec. 20, 2010
I used 1/2c brown sugar, 1c white, 2tsp extract, land o lakes butter, and boiled a few minutes longer. The flavor is spot on, but the texture needs help. It was very thick upon pouring as well, I assume the boil time was too long and it needs full fat butter. Will try again, thank you!

Pesto Cheesy Chicken Rolls

Reviewed: Nov. 10, 2010
Sooo good! I followed recommendations and used less pesto, added sun dried tomatoes, and flipped the chicken half way through so the breading would not get soggy. Came out perfect! Thank you!
