Sharp Cheddar Cheese Spread

Reviewed: Aug. 6, 2013
I have to say that this is the best cheese spread I've ever had. I followed the recipe as written and its wonderful. I thought it was going to be too thick but once everything was mixed, it was perfect. I am having it tonight with crackers and veggies. I am making another one this afternoon and sending it to a friend for their work potluck. Thank you westcoastmom for this. It came together quickly and easily. I know its going to be a regular around here and it will be requested a lot.

Cherry Snowball Cookies

Reviewed: Jun. 12, 2013
This is such an easy recipe. For me it made a lot of cookies. I followed the reicpe exactly except I used pecans. Only problem is they didn't last. I sent them to a friend's workplace in a carton as I doubled the recipe and they were eaten before the end of coffee break with requests for more. Next time I will try the walnuts. Thank you Sarah.

I just took this out of the oven and my kitchen smells amazing. It was a very easy cake to put together. Baked up nicely. It will present well. I am serving it with a sprinkle of icing sugar over top and on each slice a dab of caramel sauce. This will be made again. Thanks Allie. Its a hit.

Cranberry and Oatmeal cookies

Reviewed: Mar. 12, 2013
This is a great cookie! I always have extra bags of cranberries in the freezer and thought I'd try these. They make a very good lunch box cookie. My cookies balls were about the size of a small walnut and spread just slightly. Its good for when you want a pick me up or a healthy snack. Thank you.

Delicious Raspberry Oatmeal Cookie Bars

Reviewed: Oct. 18, 2012
I really worked the butter in with my fingers to get that sandy texture and added 1/2 tsp. of cinnamon/sugar. Once I had the crust pressed down I ended up using 1 cup of jam to get it to cover. I didn't spread it to the edges though as another reviewer suggested not to. Baked until golden, about 35 minutes. Came out great. Tasted wonderful. Thank you MARBALET.

Oatmeal Scotchies in a Pan

Reviewed: Sep. 3, 2012
As others mentioned, the batter was quite thick and had to be pressed into the pan like a crust or cookie. I reduced the oats to 1 1/4 cup and the chips to 1 cup. Baked for 25 minutes and it came out very nice. I also added a teaspoon of cinnamon to the dry mixture. Thank you ABELAIRE for a nice cake. Will definitely make it again!

Chocolate Muffins

Reviewed: Jul. 18, 2012
I made these again and they are really hard to mess up. After reading the reviews I decided to play a bit. I used 1/2 cup of brown sugar, 1 cup of buttermilk instead of milk and water and used 3/4 c. of cocoa. Then I added 1/2 c. of white chocolate chips. The recipe made 24 muffins and they came out great. The kitchen smells wonderful. Thank you for a really nice recipe.

Italian Mashed Potato Cheese Pie

Reviewed: Apr. 16, 2012
I made this exactly as written. I grated a wedge of Pecorino/Romano and used Italian bread crumbs. It was easy, tasty and I will do it again. Its so nice to have something a bit different. Thank you very much for the recipe. Next time I am going to add some boccacini to my mozzarella. I served this with steamed brussel sprouts and chicken breasts pan fried in rosemary butter. It was wonderful. I can see many variations on this potato dish. I may try sweet potatoes the next time.

Ginger Molasses Muffins

Reviewed: Mar. 31, 2012
The first time I make a recipe I do it without any changes. There won't be any on this recipe either. The kitchen smells wonderful. It made 12 muffins. They turned out perfect. This was a very easy straightfoward recipe to make. I am on my third batch because they've gone so quickly. So good while still warm too. I really love the grated ginger. Its like a giant soft gingersnap cookie. A true comfort food. Thank you for suggesting it.

Orange Spice Cake

Reviewed: Mar. 14, 2012
I just this lovely cake. It fed about a dozen people and they all loved it. The only thing I did was to add a bit more cinnamon and cloves. I did not use any whipped topping - just the marmalade. Really a very nice cake. I will be making this regularly. Thank you for sharing it.

Brownie Truffles aka Brownie Pops/Cut-outs

Reviewed: Oct. 20, 2011
I made these this morning and here's what I did: made the brownies according to package directions. For the ganache I used the stove top and a heavy pot. I always do it this way. I didn't use Pam, I buttered my pan because I think it tastes better. The ganache turned out great. You have to be fast though. I used cookie cutters, icing and sprinkles to decorate. They look so good I am sending them to some children for a treat. These are fabulous! Thanks again for a winning recipe Wicked Creations.

Onion & Garlic Biscuit Flat Bread

Reviewed: Sep. 16, 2011
Your recipe is wonderful! I have made it twice now. The second time I didn't have enough green onion so I minced a bit of red to go with it. It was so pretty and tasty. Each time the platter of biscuits was the first to go. I made them with two different dinners, one spaghetti and the other was a chicken dinner. Terrific taste, easy, fast and everything is in the cupboard. Thank you so much. Needs no improving. Stick to the exact recipe. You won't be disappointed.

Blueberry Cream Muffins

Reviewed: Sep. 6, 2011
I just finished making this recipe and my whole kitchen smells of blueberries. The recipe made 24 large muffins and one small loaf. I used frozen blueberries and added an extra cup of them. That was the only change. Otherwise I made as written. These are wonderful and a must try. Thank you, I won't be buying a mix for these again.
