Hatteras Style Clam Chowder

5 stars despite the fact I changed the recipe, becaus if I could rationalize spending so much money on clam juice (it comes in a bottle people, dont hate) then I would. I just use homemade chicken stock and all the juice from the clams. Love love love it!! So good for you too! (I also omit the bacon, because I usually forget it!)

Outrageous Chocolate Chip Cookies

Great taste, but not very oatmeal-y. Next time I will also use quick-oats instead of regular rolled oats. Overall a great cookie, definitely worth a shot!

Rosemary Chicken Noodle Soup

First, unless you really love Rosemary, this recipe is not for you. And if you love Rosemary, use fresh, not dried!! I've never heard of chicken soup with boneless skinless chicken before.. Seems like this should be altered to be just a chicken and noodles dish, not soup. It's bland because there is no chicken skin/bone. Also, adding oil?? No way. This could be a good base recipe if you use the right chicken, spices, and NO OIL! also, add water about half way through. I'd cook it a lot longer too.

Best Ever Jalapeno Poppers

I love this recipe. However, i made several small changes due to taste preferences. I blanched the peppers (in water, not the traditional oil) for about ten minutes after reading a great review with this tip. next time I might blanch them a little bit longer. I left out the bacon (I don't care for it) and used mozzarella instead of cheddar. Both might be quite nice. I also used italian bread crumbs. Instead of cutting the peppers in half (which makes deep frying quite difficult) i cut the tops off and used a potato peeler to dig out the seeds. This also retains just a little bit of the heat, but it's not overpowering (I'm a wimp when it comes to hot food!) using a pastry bag or even a ziplock bag with the corner cut works perfect for piping the cheese into the peppers this way.
