About this Cook
I'm a stay at home mom of 3, I raise meat rabbits to help feed my family and use their manure to feed my garden. I love to garden and just as with cooking I am getting better every year.
My favorite things to cook
I love trying different varieties of Lasagne and Spaghetti including Spaghetti Squash! Oh and I adore making soups.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Roasted Turkey, not stuffed with butter tucked under the skin.
My cooking triumphs
Made 2 turkeys this year and both were fall off the bone moist! (noted 2010)
My cooking tragedies
A really foul soup made with odds and ends at the end of a financially rough month. It tasted like burnt black pepper lol!

Chocolate Chip Cookies III
I had to do a lot of alterations. Had to add 2/3 cup of flour and cut the cooking time to 7 minutes. Far too thin and had an off taste, perhaps scorched sugar?

Banana Prune Muffins
Kids loved it! I found it a little bland but I am slowly moving away from processed foods. I imagine it will be some time before I will really be able to taste the goodness of what I am baking.

Bread Pudding II
Used homemade white bread and substituted pumpkin pie spice for the cinnamon then sprinkled nutmeg on top. Only found one tiny spot that was eggy. Superb!
