Amish Breakfast Casserole

Made as directed. It made a huge dish but was eaten up by my co workers. I will definitely play with the recipe and add in more meats, veggies and try with diced potatoes. My only suggestion would be to cook up the potatoes you use first to give them more flavor before adding them in. I made this the night before and baked it in the morning. At first it didn't look like it was forming up so I upped the temp to 450 for ten minutes and that gave the top a nice crust. Still didn't look set up but after arriving at work and giving it a chance to cool for half hour it was fine..

Easy Crescent Danish Rolls

Excellent. Excellent. I made according to recipe and the cheese filling was so good. Very easy to make. I used some raspberry and strawberry jam. I added more after they were done baking as the jam had reduced quiet a bit. I left two as is but i think they look better when you make the wells even if you just add some of the cheese filling to the middle. Do not eat fresh out of the oven. But make sure to drizzle with glaze while still hot. I made them the night before and had them for breakfast, they were perfect then. These tasted like professional bakery bought Danishes.

Foolproof Rib Roast

Just made tonight using a 4lb roast. Adjusted cooking time for smaller size. Nice and pink on the inside. I did take another reviewers suggestion and took it out when it was between 120-125 degrees. This was my first time cooking this cut of meat and while it isn't my favorite it was delicious. Just expensive but got mine on sale for $5.49 a lb. Really the same price if you have a family of 4 and bought 4 ny strips or ribeyes.

Wow. Amazing cookies. I doubled the batch of cookies as others suggested because the chocolate filling makes alot. Also I cooked the chocolate filling in the microwave.

Carrot Cake III

Only carrot cake recipe I use. This is so moist and flavorful that it can be eaten without the frosting. I did use a few of gneebeanie's suggestions, such as the brown/white sugar split, and oil/applesauce split, and the extra tsp vanilla, nutmeg and cinnamon.

This review is just for the cookies themselves. OMG they are so good. Moist and very flavorful. Definitely will make again. Did not make the filling as it's getting late but if it's as good as the cookies I can't wait to try it.

Jan's S'mores Campfire Cookies

Made as directed. Used a mini muffin pan and pulled them out after 12mins made the wells and put in 3 miniature marshmallows and then used mini chocolate chips. Put back in oven for 3-4 mins. Ate two before they were cooled down, very yummy.

Garlic Spread

Excellent. I followed another reviewer and melted the butter with the garlic then added it a little bit at a time, stirring between each addition. To turn this into a dip instead of a spread, i let this set in the fridge for a day or so to really let all the flavors meld together. My picky two yr old loves this dip with crackers.

OREO® and Fudge Ice Cream Cake

Who knew that these things mixed together could make something sooo decadently good. Very rich. Had a small sliver and even that was to much. I prepared this as directed. Very quick and easy. I actually think I spent more time waiting for the cool whip to defrost so that could finally make this.
