Italian Dressing Mix
Made this today......cut way back on the salt though...used garlic powder and celery seed instead of salt....whirled everything together in a spice grinder first. It was very, very good...lite and tasty. Will keep this recipe on hand for sure!!

Grandma's Noodles II
I made these today to add to homemade turkey/veggie soup. They were really, really good. I cut back on the salt, but think I will use the full amount next time. I did not add baking powder. I rolled them really thin (on parchment)and cut narrow. Can't wait to try them for chicken 'n dumplins. Trust me, they are very, very good. Followed the recipe as directed (except for the salt). They are surprisingly easy and I know what is going into them!! A definite 5+.

Andouille Sausage
I made this a couple weeks ago & although time intensive w/boning,chopping,grinding the meat, it was delicious. I didn't use liquid smoke and cut back the cayenne a little.I rolled it into links and we smoked them on the grill on cedar planks. Before tasting, I swore I would never make sausage again. But I definitely will. Freezes very well. I used it in shrimp gumbo and chopped fine in andouille (Charleston style)grits. Everyone at the gathering raved about both!
