Clone of a Cinnabon

Living in Italy, I really can't complain about the food. But.. there are those days when I REALLY miss a good cinnamon roll or a Real freshly made doughnut and there are no chance to have them here. For this reason I kept on trying cinnamon rolls recipes ( doughnuts are more difficult because of the frying). Until now. Ok, This is the one. I read the recipe and many reviews, then I decide to make it just as stated originally. Those were just PERFECT! We were having a little BD party for my youngest just turned 2, and these rolls were gone in 5 minutes. I cut them using a piece of kitchen cord, like somebody told me to do, and made them big, then I let them rest in the baking sheet - on a silpat- ( too many-too big for the pan stated) for a couple of hours because I had other cakes in the oven. They grew.. perfectly. didn't fall apart. they were PERFECT! 15 minutes and were golden, fully cooked but still SOFT just like a cinnabon... for truly perfect cloning I have to work on the glaze, but even if I felt them little differing from the cinnabon, I can't understand the difference because these ARE SO GOOD!!!!!

Rich Chocolate Frosting

I was looking for a new frosting for my classic chocolate cake and i found this recipe. This is just perfect! While preparing I was worried because the mixture was crumbled and didn t look like " creamy" at all but i trusted and kept working.... Then adding the very little milk ( i scaled the ingredients) and it became perfect! I covered the cake and used it even to decorate with a piping bag. Perfect! And yummi!
