Asian Ginger Dressing

Reviewed: Feb. 16, 2011
Excellent. Subbed Splenda for Honey (6 tbs - b/c I don't think splenda is as sweet as the honey), used 4 cloves of garlic and garlic flavored rice vinegar (I loves me some garlic!). Hubby didn't like it - but he doesnt really go for Asian cuisine anyway. This is great as a marinade or sauce (just add a little corn starch) and fabulous as a salad dressing. Yum!!

Caesar Salad Supreme

Reviewed: Feb. 16, 2011
Fabulous. I tried it with and w/o the fish... didn't really have a preference, both are d-lish. Used Miricle whip instead of mayo and nixed the cheese (I know - shock!) and I used soy sauce instead of worcestershire. Love it.

Twenty-Four Hour Salad

Reviewed: Feb. 16, 2011
First rate. This is now my go to salad to have on hand. I don't use the peas or the cheese. I discovered after a few simi-wilted batches that the layer of veggies on top protect the lettuce from the dressing (d'oh), so if there isn't enough coverage, it won't stay crisp for very long.

Kung Pao Chicken

Reviewed: Feb. 16, 2011
Wonderful! I left out the water chestnuts and peanuts, doubled the garlic, nixed the chile paste (didn't have any). The sauce turned out a bit thicker than I like, but I just thinned it with 1/4 cup of H2O and it was perfect. Nomz!

Chantal's New York Cheesecake

Reviewed: Feb. 16, 2011
This is excellet! ...Though I must admit I changed the dickens out of this receipe, just to make it as low cal / carb as possible ^____^ Okay: didn't use the crust, I used Tnuva fat free soft cheese instead of cream cheese, left out the milk, splenda instead of sugar, egg substitute, low fat sour cream and 2 tbs corn starch instead of flour. It is admittedly not the kind of thing you'd use as an indulgence, but at 90 cals a serving it allows for a tasty snack that feels indulgent, even when you're dieting!

Hot and Sour Chinese Eggplant

Reviewed: Feb. 16, 2011
Tasty, but very very spicy. It tased more like an ingredient than a main or side dish in and of itself. Very intense, but it has potential.

Italian Dressing Mix

Reviewed: Feb. 16, 2011
Love it. Used celery seeds and garlic instead of the salted veriety and Splenda instead of the sugar. The dry mix alone is great as a spice on cooked vegitables and the dressing itself is great on salads or as a dip (I especially enjoyed it as a dip for plain sliced avocado).
