Cheesy Sausage Zucchini Casserole

Reviewed: Aug. 30, 2011
This is just plain good. Not fancy, but super comforting and delicious. I doubled the rice and used a jar of salsa in lieu of the fresh tomatoes. I also used a roll of breakfast sausage and it was perfect. I am eating the leftovers for lunch and it's just as good as it was last night for dinner. Yum!

Bavarian Style Meatballs

Reviewed: Jan. 1, 2014
Excellent recipe! Made for our New Year's party and everyone raved. I followed the recipe but doubled the sauce (except for the sauerkraut) and doubled the meatballs. I used Walmart brand italian style meatballs. Cooked on low for 8 hours and they were perfect!

Black Bean Brownies

Reviewed: Apr. 2, 2013
Amazing. Added 1/2 t cinnamon and upped coffee granules and vanilla to 1 1/2 t each. Blended in my cuisinart and baked at 340 (my oven runs hot) for exactly 30 minutes. I say it makes 8 servings and each one has 5 WW Points Plus - great!

Sweet and Sour Turkey Patties

Reviewed: Dec. 5, 2012
Delicious! I followed the recipe mostly, but decided to make large meatballs out of it. I used 2.5 lb. lean ground turkey, 1 1/4 cups bread crumbs, 1 large diced onion, 3 eggs, and added about 1/4 cup milk to the mixture. Seasoned with salt and pepper. I doubled all the sauce ingredients, completely omitting the oil. I made 1/4 cup size meatballs and placed them into two greased 9 x 13 dishes, divided the sauce and covered with aluminum foil. Baked at 350 for 30 minutes covered and 20 minutes uncovered. So delicious and moist, leftovers were delicious for days and we even had some to freeze. YUM!

Aunt Betty's French Dressing

Reviewed: Oct. 4, 2010
I thought this was very good. Next time I'm going to try half honey for the sugar. I was out of worcestershire so I subbed steak sauce - turned out perfectly! So easy and good.

Iowa Pork Steak

Reviewed: Sep. 16, 2010
Very good! I made with 2 large bone-in pork steaks. Used one can of soup, no mushrooms, one packet of soup mix, and instead of water, I used half a can of dry sherry. Baked at 325 for 90 minutes. A fatty cut of meat but oh so tender and a very comforting meal with mashed potatoes and steamed broccoli!
