Slow Cooker Chicken and Dumplings

My family loves this recipe! i did make a few changes similar to what was suggested in previous comments, using chicken broth in place of water. i added fresh chopped celery and carrots at the same time as i started the chicken, and rubbed the chicken with some poultry seasoning and celery salt before cooking. i added some frozen mixed veggies prior to adding the biscuits to the top. i also made sure to dunk the biscuit pieces so they were covered top and bottom with broth. Don't worry if this seems like a lot of liquid, the dumplings will soak up a lot. This is a wonderful, hearty meal that tastes a lot more labor intensive than it is!

Hot Pizza Dip

Very easy to make and it was a huge hit at my company potluck. I assembled and heated it in the microwave the night before, then warmed it when it was potluck time. There was so much food that there were leftovers of everything, except this dip! My coworkers demolished it!

Chunky Potato Soup

Wonderfully easy and inexpensive recipe that's so good i would be proud to serve it to company. i followed the recipe exactly. Served with some crusty ciabbata bread and butter and my family all gave it rave reviews! This is a recipe i will use again and again.

i also "spiked" my dough with a bit of nutmeg and a half tsp of vanilla extract. The first batch of sugar-cinnamon i made was light on cinnamon, and the resulting cookies tasted like eggnog cookies! yum! From now on i will most likely split the batch, half with the normal amount of cinnamon and one light. Either way these cookies are wonderful!

Chicken And Artichoke Penne With A White Sauce

Really really good! i made it exactly as authored, but used a different Bechamel Sauce recipe than the one linked beneath the chicken recipe, and i loved the subtlety of the flavor.
