Easy Shake and Bake Chicken

Reviewed: Nov. 6, 2002
Very good. I used skinless, boneless chicken breasts because my family isn't fond of bone-in chicken. This was very good and very easy to adapt to your own tastes by adding whatever spices you like. Next time I will add a dash of cayenne pepper.

Goulash Supreme

Reviewed: Jul. 17, 2003
One of my husband's favorite dinners. I made the macaroni(I only cooked about 1 cup of the macaroni) seperately and cooked the ground beef with the onions and spices. Put them all together and heated through. Since I made the macaroni seperately I used the 14.5 oz can of diced tomatoes and an 8 oz can of tomato sauce. Also I had to add some salt and pepper.

Corned Beef and Cabbage II

Reviewed: Mar. 17, 2003
This is THE BEST. I made it in the crock pot and the corned beef was so tender and everything was so tasty. I won't wait until next St. Patty's Day to make this again. Fantastic!!!!!!

Stuffed Shells III

Reviewed: Apr. 6, 2003
Hubby isn't fond of "meatless" dinners, so I browned about 1/2 lb of ground beef and added it to the pasta sauce before pouring it over the shells. I also left out the mushrooms and only used about 1/2 tsp of salt. We really enjoyed this very filling dinner!

Cauliflower and Broccoli Bake

Reviewed: Feb. 9, 2003
I cut back on the amount of milk after reading the reviews. I also didn't add the additional cheese the last 10 minutes of baking. I felt there was enough cheese with the sauce. This was wonderful! I will be making this again.

Bacon Wrapped Barbeque Shrimp

Reviewed: Jan. 27, 2003
These are fantastic~ I wish I would have made more. A guest at our superbowl party ate two and he is allergic to shrimp, but he said they are soooo good. I used pre-cooked bacon and it was perfect when I baked it for 10 minutes. Will be making these again for other get togethers.

Beef Yakitori

Reviewed: Nov. 11, 2002
This is one of the very BEST marinades we have had. The only thing different I did was use sesame oil in place of the vegetable oil. WOW!! I would give this more than 5 stars. Hubby said you can't get anything better than this at any restaurant.

Easy Pork Chop Casserole

Reviewed: Aug. 10, 2003
The whole family gave this recipe a thumbs up. I cooked mine in the crock pot so that the pork chops came out nice and tender. Next time I would use half the water called for so that the gravy is a little thicker but we all thought the flavor was great! Thanks Karen.

Garlic Chicken Stir Fry

Reviewed: Mar. 22, 2003
Even my son liked this(and he says he doesn't like onions). I used about half the green onions and regular onions that this recipe called for. I also used about a 1/2 tsp of ground ginger instead of the fresh ginger. Good basic stir fry.

Bread and Celery Stuffing

Reviewed: Apr. 13, 2003
First time I tried homemade stuffing and I was very impressed. I made it in a casserole. I didn't have the poultry seasoning, so I added some other seasonings. Will definitely be making this again!

Lemon Sauce I

Reviewed: Mar. 15, 2003
My mother used to make a lemon sauce for gingerbread. When I saw this recipe, I just had to try it. I am so glad I did. This is a wonderful sauce for gingerbread! Thanks for the memories!

Savory Tater Tot Casserole

Reviewed: Mar. 8, 2003
This really hit the spot today. I took some other reviewer's suggestions and cooked the hamburger and onions before putting them in the casserole. I baked it for 40 minutes and it was great. Next time I will add a few seasonings. Thanks Sunny for sharing this recipe.

Cabbage Patch Stew

Reviewed: Aug. 7, 2006
I cooked mine in the crock pot while I was at work, so it cooked for 9 hours which was a little too long, my cabbage basically disappeared. We still enjoyed it but next time will make when it won't have to cook as long.

Apricot Pork Chops

Reviewed: Mar. 23, 2003
I made 4 pork chops and used 8oz of Russian dressing. My husband and I thought this was excellent. The chops were nice and tender and my son even gave it 4 stars. This is really sweet but we enjoyed it more than other "sweet" recipes we have tried.

Garlicky Appetizer Shrimp Scampi

Reviewed: Dec. 18, 2002
My husband's reaction was WOW, I could eat these all night. I made these as an appetizer for the Angel Hair Pasta with Shrimp & Basil (also from this site). This shrimp scampi is so easy to make and I will make these again and again.

Apple Stuffed Chicken Breast

Reviewed: Jun. 11, 2000
The chicken was very tender but there wasn't much taste. Next time I will use chicken broth instead of water and maybe add some more spices or brown sugar. It did look impressive on the serving platter.

Fiery Pork Skewers

Reviewed: Jan. 16, 2003
Another fantastic recipe. I did marinate the pork for about 3 hours and ended up broiling them instead of putting them on the grill and they were still fantastic. Thanks Lindsay.

Emily's Famous Chili

Reviewed: Jan. 2, 2003
I left out the chipotle peppers, because I didn't have any. I added a little more salt and pepper and didn't puree the tomatoes because I like tomato chunks in my chili. We topped it with shredded cheddar cheese, chopped onions and grated romano cheese. This was fantastic.

Basic Easy Chicken Wings

Reviewed: May 26, 2003
The flavor of the sauce was great but it is a little thin (could be the hot sauce I used). We grilled the wings but we like them crispier too, so will fry them next time we make this.

This was FABULOUS! The best ham we have ever had and while it is cooking it makes the house smell heavenly! Hubby kept asking when it was going to be done! 5*++++++.
