I used ground beef instead of turkey and used a spicy bbq sauce which gave this a nice bite.

Better Slow Cooker Robust Chicken

Reviewed: Sep. 28, 2003
I used whole chicken breasts, cut down on the wine and vinegar and left out the mushrooms. I didn't like the smell of this while it was cooking but the chicken was pretty good. I didn't use the sauce after it cooked though. The smell just turned me off.

Mimi's Slumgullion

Reviewed: Sep. 19, 2003
Excellent flavor. My son asked me to use more kielbasa next time, but I like the idea of cutting the green pepper to one. I also used red potatoes and didn't bother peeling them. Everybody loved it. Thanks Christopher for sharing Mimi's recipe.

Stuffed Cabbage Rolls

Reviewed: Sep. 13, 2003
This really made my husband happy. He is always asking for stuffed cabbage and I am always saying it is too much work, but this was a very easy and delicious recipe and I will most definitely be making this again. I added some spaghetti sauce because there didn't seem to be enough soup and I cooked it for about an hour.

Kathy's Roast and Vegetables

Reviewed: Sep. 11, 2003
Wonderful flavor and tender roast. I cooked mine on the stove for several hours because I forgot to get it in my crockpot in the morning. Still wonderful. Loved the gravy. Hubby loved the vegetables.

Very good and the chops were nice and tender. Would use a little less orange peel next time I make it but we all enjoyed this as is.

Sesame Beef

Great flavor but a little too sweet. Will use 1/2 the sugar called for next time I make it. I also added broccoli which we found a nice addition.

Meatball Grinders with a Yummy Sauce

Reviewed: Sep. 5, 2003
Way too sweet for my son and I, we couldn't eat it all, but my husband said it was only a tad too sweet. Would use only a tbsp of jelly if I make this again.

Baked Tilapia in Garlic and Olive Oil

Reviewed: Sep. 5, 2003
I am in the minority here. I found the flavors were all very strong and didn't blend together well or compliment the fish. Sorry.

Beans-n-Franks

A family favorite. I didn't use as much brown sugar as this recipe called for and it was still very sweet to me. I prefer the way my husband makes it with BBQ sauce added.
