Cheesy Potatoes II

Reviewed: Jan. 29, 2011
Yum!! Just make sure you cook it much longer if you are using frozen potatoes. Also, 16 oz of potatoes isn't enough. Used the 32 oz. bag.

Sorta Salisbury Steak

Reviewed: Jan. 29, 2011
I made these in the crockpot, like a previous post suggested. Added a couple chopped cloves of garlic, a small can of sliced mushrooms, and some garlic salt, onion powder, & black pepper. I used cornstarch to make a gravy at the end of cooking. Delicious!!! Cube steaks were so tender they were falling apart. Great gravy!

Slow Cooker Chicken and Noodles

Reviewed: Nov. 16, 2010
This was pretty good, but I found it to be a little bland for my tastes. I had to doctor it up with some poultry seasoning, salt & pepper. I thought 6 cups of liquid would be too much, so I only used 4 cups of chicken broth. Next time I will use all 6 cups.

Fudge Chunkies

Reviewed: Nov. 16, 2010
These cookies were sooo yummy...rich, gooey, chocolaty goodness! I made them for just me and my best friend, so the small batch was perfect for us. I would definitely make a double or triple batch if I make it for more people. Will definitely make these again!

Rich Chocolate Truffle Pie

So rich & chocolaty, but has a light texture. I cut it into small pieces because it was so rich. Everyone loved it!

Chicken and Broccoli Braid

Reviewed: Sep. 21, 2010
This was so yummy! I followed the recipe as written, except took other reviewers' advice and sauteed the onion and garlic, and steamed the broccoli before mixing with the chicken. Then I added some sesame seeds to the top before baking. I didn't think the dill was overpowering at all. The slivered almonds added a wonderful crunch. I will definitely make this again!!
