Glazed Salmon

I absolutely loved this. I have never enjoyed salmon so much. The only change I made was adding a couple drops of juice from the lemon in addition to the zest. It just seemed to need a bit of a boost for the citrus taste to be detected. I doubled the recipe and I'm glad I did. It was great to have lots of extra sauce to serve. It seems that many reviewers substituted honey for molasses. I suspect that would result in a very different flavor. Honey is much sweeter and lighter than the deep tones of molasses.

Marzetti® Red, White and Blue Slaw

I never knew slaw could be like this! I've made it three times this past week because I can't stop eating it. My store didn't have that brand of dressing so I used another. Upon the advice of another reviewer, I added the dressing and bleu cheese a bit at a time, so my amounts may differ a bit, but I think it was close.

Peachy Rice Salad

Nice combination of sweet & crunchy. Pretty darn good. I thought it needed a bit more flavor so I added a dash of nutmeg and that did the trick.

Grilled Tilapia with Mango Salsa

Fabulous Mango Salsa! I've made this both with the marinade and also by just pan frying the fish in a bit of olive oil & lemon. The fish marinade is tasty, but seems almost superfluous when served with the salsa.

Bow Ties with Sausage, Tomatoes and Cream

Tasty, quick, and easy. Based on the recommendations of other reviewers, I used the oil from the sausage to saute' the onions rather than add olive oil. I used half and half instead of heavy cream. I also added a bit of frozen spinach for color, flavor, and nutrition. This dish was really tasty and I'm sure I will make it again and again.

Pork Chops and Sauerkraut

Hearty, Delicious & Easy. I loved this and I'm not a big fan of sauerkraut. I added some apple slices as others have suggested & also added some sour cream just before serving. This is a great dish and so easy to make in just one pan.
