Corn Tortilla Quiche

Reviewed: Jan. 27, 2015
I made this recipe and of course had a few changes. I used half-n-half instead of whipping cream. I chopped one fresh Jalapeno pepper and added that to the sausage after cooking and draining the sausage and then cooked the sausage and Jalapeno pepper together for several minutes. I also used flour tortillas instead of corn. I was worried the flour tortillas would get soggy but they didn't. I sprayed Pam into the pie dish and then wiped that with a paper towel before laying the tortillas into it.

Million Dollar Chicken

Reviewed: Nov. 24, 2013
Just made this and it is excellent! I did not have the Aleppo pepper, but the internet said it's between an Ancho pepper and paprika, so I put in a few red pepper flakes and some cumin and the tsp of paprika. Hubby likes his food spicy which is why I added the few red pepper flakes, it had the perfect spice for him. I had the thinner cut bread so I used two pieces one on the other instead of one thicker piece and this worked just fine. My hubby works at a labor intensive job so this worked for him, but I had to limit myself to the meat, otherwise it would not be good for my pants, but whew! This is tasty. Thank you for the recipe. :)

Caramel Popcorn

Reviewed: Jan. 15, 2012
Fantastic and very easy recipe. I use two large bowls for stirring the popcorn. Be sure to cook the caramel on a medium heat or it will burn. I have made this recipe 5 times in two months, I have sent three batches with my husband to work (at a ski resort, in the vehicle maintenance shop), it is gone in less than an hour. This recipe also makes a good caramel sauce for ice cream or deserts, just cook for 2 minutes, not 4 minutes. Thank you for this recipe!
