About this Cook
I'm 27 and have loved cooking and baking since I was a teenager. I think I am adventurous in life and this carries over to my cooking as I love trying new recipes!
My favorite things to cook
Cheesecakes, Desserts, Ethnic Dishes, Chicken
My favorite family cooking traditions
My Mom always made Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Cookies - to this day, the smell of these fabulous cookies cheers me up!
My cooking triumphs
Cheesecake (it's a matter of debate among friends and family which one is best), herbed potatoes, baked beans - I think these are the things that I am best known for...
My cooking tragedies
Angel food cake is always a disaster for me as are croissants!

Maple-Mustard Glazed Pork Chops
I think this may be the best pork recipe I've tried to date - and so easy too! I'm going to try the glaze on chicken next.

Strawberry Dream Cake I
This cake was quite good (very moist which is nice) however I found that although I had greased the pans, the cake stuck on the bottom and was difficult to get out of the pan. I would use waxed paper in the pan next time. I agree with the previous reviewers that whipping the cream cheese before adding whipping cream and chocolate would be a great idea as you have to whisk for a long time to get the lumps out. Everyone loved it though and even people who don't like cake said it was awesome. Will make again, thanks Beth!

Cola Chops
This was a good easy main dish. I would make it again. I may try it with chili sauce in place of the ketchup next time as I thought it could have used a bit more zip.
