Sweet and Sour Chicken I

Reviewed: Nov. 29, 2011
this recipe deserves nothing less than 5 stars, it's amazing exactly as it...i tend to change things up when I check out recipes, add a litttle here, take a little there, after reading the reviews I decided to NOT alter this and I am glad I didn't, it really is perfect, I've been using the betty crocker recipe for years and it was ok, but betty aint got nothing on this one....seriously perfect recipe

Acorn Squash

Reviewed: Oct. 27, 2011
butter is not needed to get the desidered result here, it's just wasted calorie and fat...while I agee it can be microwaved, I prefer mine in the oven, i place the squash in pan with water 1/2 way up the side of the squash and the cavity face up filled with brown sugar and cinnamon....although maple syrup is a good alternative as well...just fill it and forget it and let the amazing aroma take over the house, my son who is picky when it comes to vegetables will actually ask for this one, he loves it!!!!

Pumpkin Cookies V

Reviewed: Oct. 25, 2011
PERFECT RECIPE, the only thing I can't comment on is the spice I always us more than a recipe calls for on cinnamon, in my world there's no such thing as too much cinnamon...only bad thing is: they are soooo good you want to share them except they are soooo good you want to save all of them for yourself...oh and i'll be using this glaze on other stuff, I added cinnamon to it too, also used the dunking method suggested by anoher user, worked like a charm

Sky High Yorkshire Pudding

Reviewed: Sep. 5, 2011
i don't understand how this has such a high rating...while the ingredients are almost correct the portions are way off, if you follow the other user reviews you find this out, the ingredients should be equal parts milk, equal parts egg, equal parts flour, and add a tsp of salt or they are very very bland...also the cooking time should only be 20min or you'll end up with rock cakes...with these changes it is a 5 star recipe...also best to use lard or pan drippings if possible it adds flavor

Pumpkin Crunch Cake

Reviewed: Sep. 5, 2011
love it, so simple, so tasty...i only use cinnamon and lots of it but that's a preference thing...i also used two sticks of butter cut into the cake mix rather than melted and poured over top...perfecto...will make again and again, way better than pumpkin pie

Banana Trifle

Reviewed: Nov. 15, 2010
best trifle ever, the cream makes all the difference. I used french vanilla pudding as that's what i had on hand, and added a bit of cinnamon to the cream, rave reviews. this recipe doesn't need any tweaking at all, cinnamon is just a preference i have.

Chicken Puffs

Reviewed: Nov. 5, 2010
i got this via email as a must try dish...yeah didn't really do it for me....the chicken mixture ideal is fine, but to put the cream cheese with the cresent rolls, it's just too much, not really sure what you're eating...but then again I haven't really found any dish made with crescent rolls, biscuits or any other type food like that, that i enjoy...just too processed I guess, I make most things from scratch
