Pot Roast in Foil
I have been making this for years. It is a great way to fix a roast!! My changes are: I make a few slits in the roast and insert garlic clove halves. I use low sodium soup and I use one can of cream of mushroom soup and one can of cream of celery soup. And I add a little Worchestershire sauce, maybe a tablespoon. The best thing is, I use my crock pot!! So I put it in the crock pot in the morning and dinner is ready by evening. You can also use the same recipe but instead of a roast, use stew meat. Serve on buttered poppy seed noodles or rice. YUM!!!

Bacon for the Family or a Crowd
I have cooked bacon like this for years. To reduce the lingering bacon smell place a small bowl of vinegar beside the oven vent (not inside the oven). Or I have also cooked it on the BBQ, same temps but a little less time as the bacon is closer to the flame. No smell in the house this way but you drive your neighbors crazy!!!

Awesome Slow Cooker Pot Roast
I have been making this roast for years also. I reduced the water to 1/2 cup and that will make the gravy thicker. I have also used a couple pounds lean stew meat with the same ingredients (instead of a roast). This makes excellent beef tips that can be served over noodles.
